It seems I won't be spending more evenings with one of my favorite couples: Julia and Paul Child as embodied by Sarah Lancashire and David Hyde Pierce. What they created was a TV rarity, a joyous, richly nuanced portrait of a long-lived marriage. HBO's "Julia" has been canceled.
