My dad died 24 years ago, when I was just 16. Last night he was in my dream. I ran over, jumped up, and hugged him like a little child. I introduced him to my daughter and my husband. I don’t remember ever dreaming of him before. I’m hiding in the bathroom right now so my 4-year-old doesn’t see me cry.

I finally made my choice. I am going to give my baby up for adoption. I know it’s going to be hard, but I know that if I love this baby, then I can do this for them because I know that I can’t take care of it. I know that the choice I am going to make is going to be hard, but I have to do it not for me but it because I will not be able to take care of it. There are no words big enough for the heartbreak I feel right now. Yesterday, I lost one my best friends, Anthony. A lot of people don’t understand how close we were. He was the one person I would have done anything for. He was the kind of man who always put everyone else first. He made sure you were okay before he worried about himself. He would give you his last dollar, the shirt off his back, and every ounce of his strength if it meant helping someone he loved. I loved Anthony deeply. Not because he was perfect, but because he was genuinely one of the kindest, most selfless, and most beautiful souls I’ve ever known. He had a way of making you so mad at him, and then somehow, within minutes, you’d forget why you were upset and find yourself laughing right alongside him. Watching brain cancer take him from us has been the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced. My heart has been breaking a little more every day, knowing there was nothing I could do except be there, hold his hand, and make sure he knew he was loved. And he was loved. More than he could have ever imagined. A piece of my heart left with him yesterday, and I don’t know when, or if, that piece will ever come back. Thank you for letting me walk beside you through this life. I love you, Anthony. I always will. Until we meet again. ❤️

I’m sorry you’ve lost your husband. I can’t say it will get any easier. Thank God for all the memories you have with him. Try and think of it as he’s in the other room. You’ll walk through a door and he will be there waiting for you. They say that in heaven we won’t be given to marriage. Kinda upset me the first time I read that in the Bible. But, then, I got it. Our ability to love will so increase that we will love everyone, everywhere.

It’s been 2 months today since my husband died. Toddy my family left and I am at home alone for the first time. He was a wonderful husband, father and Pop Poppa. I miss him terribly. But somehow I will Survive! The man the myth the legend. I will always love you Randy!! ❤️🙏

My Dad was recently called home to be with the Lord, where he now rests in the presence of Jesus. He made a lasting impact on so many lives as a devoted Father, Coach and Teacher. I am thankful for the many Amazing Memories and I look forward to seeing him again!!! Love you Dad!!
