Yes but a public network that is supposed to be under local authority control is supposed to have some control. We were promised accountability and control over our public transport network, franchising has proved that we don't, Private companies can still pull the strings. Would love to see what the actual away gates are when you take away us fans that live up North from northern away games. there are a lot of us that can only make away games and I bet out away attendance won't look nearly as healthy. When I go to away games I meet so many that can only do away games. Well done to the Harrogate fans that made the journey to and good luck for the rest of the season. (Side note, ok average tickets on the train from the North to Priestfield are more expensive than from Kent to the North.)
