@ShrapnelScarz@UgoCannon Atheism is rebellion with the hope of no accountability. That is your hope, to die unpunished. My hope is in the finished work of Christ. I am a Christian. I am something to behold.
Atheism is not a religion!
It’s the refusal to accept claims without evidence.
Atheists are simply people willing to ask critical questions, challenge old beliefs, and think for themselves without fear of where the answers may lead.
@i_consequence@Machi1Nne You lack intellect. “God don’t exist” is completely independent of “the Bible God is evil.” One is referring to the existence of a supernatural being or a lack there of; the other refers to a character in a book. You have just been educated.
@TrekkerStelth@UgoCannon You are absolutely incorrect. Atheism is a position and a response to theistic claims that a god or gods exist. The position they hold is non-belief. The response to the theistic claims is: prove it using reasonable evidence or irrefutable proof.
@JUNIORTRADER77 Also, it is absolutely pointless to believe that people will face judgment by a God, who is all-knowing—which means he knew what everyone would turn out be before they were in the womb. Absolutely ridiculous and fantastical bullshit.
Clavicular says he doesn’t think it’s important for a woman to have an org*sm because there isn’t a good “Return on Investment” 💀
“it’s not important… the amount of extra effort that’s required to do that is just not gonna have much ROI…”
@athiestboi If Jesus was real, he was nothing more than a loophole, God’s fix for first condemning humanity to death for “breaking rules” he himself implemented in the first place. God needs humans so that heaven can serve a purpose. But I don’t believe any of it is real anyway. 🤷🏽♂️
@mschofield137@Machi1Nne Then take this up with the poster, not me. I am not so gullible as to believe in such nonsensical fantasies. I am strong willed and my belief system is grounded in reality.
@ShrapnelScarz@Machi1Nne Do you even know the meaning of hypothetical? You can't ask something that you already have an opinion about and disguise it as a hypothetical question. You are either a believer or a non-believer. Things like 'if Jesus' this and that are intellectually lazy when you don't believ
@mschofield137@Machi1Nne It was a hypothetical question that “my friend” posted. She didn’t acknowledge anything. Furthermore, whether she acknowledged or didn’t, it doesn’t mean that the writings in the bible are accurate, much less true.
@ShrapnelScarz@Machi1Nne If God does not exist, then your friend should not have acknowledged that he died for our sins. That is all I am saying. If you choose to accept that Jesus died for our sins, then consequently it means you accept that everything else in the bible is true.
@mschofield137@Machi1Nne Then your way of thinking is flawed, sadly. Imagine if the Justice system can lock you up based on what they believe because they don’t care about proving anything. How sickening would that be? You might want to reevaluate what you believe.
@ShrapnelScarz@Machi1Nne I don't need to prove anything. Your friend here decided to argue from the biblical perspective, and I simply argued back using my own bible knowledge. If you read a bible, then you'd know that what I am saying is true.
@Machi1Nne It’s like a king paying prisoners’ debts and opening the gates. Some walk free, others reject him and stay behind mocking the king.
Judgment isn’t about sin alone, because everyone sinned. It’s about rejecting the cure, truth, and salvation offered.
@Machi1Nne It was necessary because you all were going to burn in hell. No one was going to Heaven. However, by dying, Jesus paved way for a better second option. Everyone's sins will be weighed against their deeds, instead of just saying every sinner is going to hell, for which everyone is
@PrimeCoCreator@JUNIORTRADER77 If I went broke because I paid off America's national debt, what purpose does it serve to ask Americans to accept me as their savior?
That statement overlooks the symbolic significance and energetic impact of YeShua's sacrifice. His death served as a catalyst for the release of a powerful wave of compassion, forgiveness, and healing energies, which continue to reverberate throughout the collective unconscious, influencing humanity's capacity for empathy and redemption.
The death of Jesus did nothing for humanity
actually.
It did not erase sin
It did not erase suffering
It did not erase sickness and death.
What exactly did his death do for us.
@PrimeCoCreator@JUNIORTRADER77 Sacrificing your life and never knowing the impact of said sacrifice is a TRUE sacrifice—not being able to return days or years later to see what fruits your “sacrifice” bore.
@theerealtao It would be nice for these religions to first prove the existence of this—character, for lack of a better term—before disagreeing about anything regarding said character’s nature.
