States and cities are awash with more than $1 trillion in covid funding passed by Congress early this year. Why didn’t they use the funds to stockpile Covid tests? Why didn’t they build surge capacity at hospitals and clinics? Where did the money go??
I voted today to move forward to consideration of a bipartisan infrastructure bill, but more must be done to guarantee my support for the legislation currently being drafted.

I walked near the U.S. Capitol today. As you can see, I couldn’t get very close. Security remains intense. The security fence with the razor wire still surrounds the Capitol complex.
