@fanofFryes71 He rightfully blamed NS, following the NTSB's independent investigation, promptly joining the administration's lawsuit against NS and securing over $600 million for EP. But sure, he could've prevented NS's actions. 🙄

@fanofFryes71 That process was approved by NS, the mayor of EP, and governor of Ohio. Tough to prevent something your department hasn't been allowed in on.

@Lis_Smith @PeteButtigieg @turek4iowa I whole heartedly believe this helps Wahls tremendously. Not only did Pete not win the caucus in 2020, but he’s also not the last winner, Biden won in 2024. You continue to lie but what’s new?

The last winner of the Iowa caucuses just endorsed Iowa’s next U.S. senator: @PeteButtigieg: “I believe Iowa can make history again in 2026 by sending @turek4iowa to the U.S. Senate.”

@PeteButtigieg @ChedrickGreene I'm from Indiana but, I'll tell Michigan how to vote? Yeah, the "ladies" of South Bend would like to have a news conference about your appointments with them and not your "husband". Michigan is done with the retarded Commies.

I saw firsthand while campaigning with @ChedrickGreene what a committed leader and excellent public servant he is. Congratulations on your victory tonight - I know you’ll continue serving fellow Michiganders well in the State Senate.

@LVBurke If "they" is referring to the previous administration, that's incorrect. The networks wanted Pete more often, but the admin limited his appearances.

@admcrlsn Oh it mattered... in an alternate timeline, Buttigieg was a clear(er) Iowa delegate winner (Bernie won pop vote), he went on to win New Hampshire, stayed in through Super Tuesday which split the vote, diluted Biden, and propelled Bernie to victory.

“Now you see kids, no one can say for certain who won the 2020 Iowa Democratic caucuses. Pete Buttigieg won the most delegates, but Bernie Sanders won the popular vote. And there were vote reporting delays from issues with a smartphone app that was being used to help tabulate results for the first time. And the New York Times found that ‘more than 100 precincts reported results that were internally inconsistent, that were missing data or that were not possible under the complex rules of the Iowa caucuses.’ Also none of it mattered anyway. So everyone just needs to let it go.”

Buttigieg, who won the Iowa Democratic caucuses in 2020, is backing state Rep. Josh Turek — a move that shows his willingness to wade into contested primaries ahead of another possible presidential campaign. politico.com/news/2026/05/1…

@adamwren @mattyglesias He lost Iowa. Buttigieg is a CIA candidate that came out of a DNC algorithm machine. Anyone falling for this guy must have lead in their brains.

I'm not surprised that Buttigieg is endorsing Josh Turek, because Josh's record of engaging/winning redder communities is what Pete is trying to help Dems do. And you can't win Iowa if you don't do that. I think Pete chose wisely. Josh is the better fit to run statewide in Iowa.

I am deeply honored to have Pete’s support in this race. His unique ability to connect with Iowans who feel forgotten and left behind is exactly why he won the caucuses in 2020, and it’s that same approach that will help us win Senator Harkin’s seat back.

Under Pete Buttigieg, the NOTAM system that alerts pilots about information like weather, airspace & runway closures BROKE DOWN - grounding planes nationwide for the first time since 9/11. Why? It was old & outdated. Built in 1985. And Pete didn’t fix it. Under my leadership, America now has a BRAND NEW state-of-the-art NOTAM system. At @USDOT we’re moving at the speed of Trump! 🇺🇸

Referring to yourself as a licensed medical professional is not a ‘right you earn.’ It’s a qualification you obtain through a rigorous standardized process, one that Abdul El-Sayed simply did not complete.

NEW: Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for years has publicly said that he’s a physician — but there’s overwhelming evidence that he’s had no experience as a licensed medical doctor. W/ @dlippman politico.com/news/2026/05/1…
