“Negligence Exposed: 25-Day-Old Tiger Skeleton Found 100m from Main Road in Panna Tiger Reserve – Discovered by Tribal Woman, Not Forest Staff” A 25-day-old skeleton of a 5-6 year old young tiger has been found in the Gangau Sanctuary of Panna Tiger Reserve. The surprising thing is that this skeleton did not come to the notice of any Forest Department employee. It was spotted by a tribal woman who had gone to collect mahua (Mahua flowers), and it was only through her that the Forest Department received the information. Only after this was the Panna management able to reach the spot and begin the investigation. Additionally, the STF (Special Task Force) is investigating this case thoroughly. What is even more shocking is that the skeleton was found just 100 meters away from the main Manour-Manjhgaon (Hinauta) road. No employee noticed or paid attention to the foul smell of the carcass, nor did anyone bother to investigate the source of the stench. This is a clear reflection of complete negligence and apathy. Tigers are continuously dying without any proper reason, and the authorities simply cite one convenient cause of death and close the case and the file.
