मोदी सरकार के बड़े-बड़े विरोधी भी यह मानते हैं कि मोदी सरकार में पद्म सम्मान बिल्कुल ऐसे लोगों को दिया जा रहा है जो सच में इसकी हकदार है अब पद्म सम्मान लुटियंस जोन के दलालों को या फिर खान मार्केट या जिमखाना क्लब के दलालों को नहीं दिया जाता अगर इस सरकार के किसी रिफार्म की बात करें तो इन्होने पद्म सम्मान को जिस सम्मानजनक उंचाई तक पहुंचा दिया है,इसके लिए 10 में 100 अंक दे दूं तो भी कम है... हर साल पद्म सम्मान समाज के अंतिम तबके तक के धुरंधरों को ढूंढ कर देना सच में सुख देता है,तब लगता है कि सरकार का असली काम ही यही है... जैसे अनके गौड़ा को इस साल पद्मश्री मिलना खुद पद्मश्री का सम्मान है.. कर्नाटक के मंड्या जिले के रहने वाले अनके गौड़ा एक साधारण किसान परिवार से आते हैं... जब वो जवान से तो उन्होंने बस कंडक्टर के रूप में काम किया और बाद में एक शुगर फैक्ट्री में नौकरी की...लेकिन उनके भीतर किताबों के प्रति असीम प्रेम बचपन से ही था.... यही कारण था कि उन्होंने अपनी नौकरी छोड़कर पुस्तका मने नामक की एक पुस्तकालय की स्थापना की... उस समय उनकी आय बहुत कम थी और उनकी कमाई के हिसाब से किताबें बेहद महंगी हुआ करती थीं... पर तब जब भी अनके गौड़ा अपनी कमाई का लगभग 80 प्रतिशत हिस्सा किताबें खरीदने में खर्च कर देते थे... इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने अपनी कुछ संपत्ति पुस्तकालय चलता रहे इसके लिए बेच दी...घर और पुस्तकालय चलाने के लिए पैसे जुटाने के लिए उन्होंने गायें पालीं, दूध बेचा और बीमा एजेंट भी बन गए ... अपने परिश्रम, त्याग और ज्ञान के प्रति समर्पण के बल पर उन्होंने पुस्तका मने को देश के सबसे बड़े निःशुल्क पुस्तकालयों में से एक बना दिया... आज उनके पुस्तकालय में 20 से अधिक भाषाओं में 20 लाख से भी ज्यादा पुस्तकें मौजूद हैं जो लोकल विद्यार्थियों और ज्ञान पिपासुओं के लिए किसी खजाने से कम नहीं है.. अंके गौड़ा जैसे लोग वास्तव में राष्ट्र की प्रेरणा और असली धरोहर हैं... एक समय था जब पद्म पुरस्कारों को बस एलिट क्लब से थोड़ दिया गया था,या जो सरकार बहादूर के करीबी थे उनको मिलता था... लेकिन आज ऐसे वास्तविक और योग्य लोग सम्मानित हो रहे हैं जिन्होंने अपना पूरा जीवन समाज लिए समर्पित कर दिया है... भारत के ऐसे गुमनाम नायको को ढूंढ कर उसका सम्मान करने के लिए सरकार भी सराहना की पात्र हैं..

When she asked what was going on, the encroacher first said she could operate out of half the premises. When she disagreed, she was assaulted and molested. The victim approached the local BJP office and complained, saying that the miscreant wore saffron. It turned out he had no links with the party. MLA Arijit Bakshi (Dum Dum, AC-114), also a lawyer by profession, helped free her shop and assured the people that such criminal activities would not be tolerated, no matter who the suspect was.

SP will contest the next election talking about the Constitution, about rights, about justice. Let them. But somewhere a family in UP remembers sitting in a police station being asked what their daughter was doing out so late. Somewhere a witness remembers being visited at home by people who did not need to say anything explicitly. Somewhere a woman remembers being told by a party worker that settling was the smarter option. Those memories do not respond to election speeches. They respond to what actually changed on the ground. And enough has changed that SP's words land differently now than they would have ten years ago. That difference is the real election story.

It’s funny hearing the word “humiliation” for Our Prime Minister, a leader who is continuously being honoured by countries around the world with their top civilian awards. My PM is among the most internationally respected and honoured leaders in the world today, and he is the democratically elected Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy. He has been winning democratic elections continuously for over 25 years now. First as a Chief Minister and now as Prime Minister. There are simply no words to describe how deeply millions of us love, admire, and trust him. And as for India’s progress, leave that to us Indians. More than 1.4 billion Indians are capable enough of deciding what is good for our country. We don’t need a YouTuber sitting abroad, disconnected from India’s ground reality, pretending to be our spokesperson while building his entire online career around mocking, criticizing, and fearmongering about the very country that made him relevant.
