Beautiful talk by @ChadTangMD @MDAndersonNews at #ESMO24 (in session led by @crisuarez08) discussing the (1) complicated hx of XRT in RCC (weak preclinical data, poorly designed “adjuvant” trials, (2) current rationale for using #SBRT (or surgery!) for #oligometastatic dz (incl his prospective study in @TheLancetOncol) & (3) mgmt of #oligoprogression (impt study chaired by @ebludmir - see below; he also covered mgmt in rare scenarios like #RMC via @PavlosMsaouel).
