@SSSAdditiveHQ @Wix Yeah, I had a long chat with their customer support and made them cancel my subscription even when they say “ok we will give you your old pricing”. I told them they showed their colors of greed and I don’t want to be a part of it.

Thats a 40% increase 😳. I could understand 5 or maybe 10% but 40%. Thats a poor business decision made by someone there. They will lose massive subscriptions and not realize the repercussions until after its said and done. One thing these company need to realize is once you do it once, people remember. Internet is forever. Greed never pays off.

Hey @Wix, this isn’t acceptable. I’ve cancelled this and keeping to Etsy exclusively now. Pure greed. 8+ years with 3 businesses and now I'm gone.

@AzzyDesignWorks @3D_Musketeers @Wix I’ve actually had the opposite experience with Etsy. They’ve taken down copied listings of mine within days, the fees haven’t hurt my margins, and I even had a seller removed for violating Etsy’s mass-production rules.

@Shurdle3D @3D_Musketeers @Wix Etsy also keeps raising their prices, and ignores people who are just drop shipping aliexpress garbage. They also will do nothing about IP theft.

@3D_Musketeers @Wix Yes, this doesn’t even include my website builder and business email and domain name. I paid $300 a few years ago for this same subscription they’re trying to make me pay $900 for.

@3D_Musketeers @Wix Also just to clarify, I’m only canceling the e-commerce subscription from Wix. The website builder is very easy to use and I can just use links to take my sales across to Etsy and AWAY from Wix

@Shurdle3D @Wix this is why we NEVER recommend building your site with WIX or others. You are forced to keep paying or lose everything you worked so hard for. Glad you had a better solution! Yes, Wix, Squarespace, etc are easy, but they own you at that point
