While researching the fates of The Apostles several months ago, I was surprised to read that Thomas actually made it all the way to India. It's believed that Thomas travelled to India around 52 AD, arriving on the west coast at Kerala alongside traders. While there, Thomas founded seven churches with his impact on the area still being seen today with the local Christian community who refer to themselves as Thomas Christians. (I'm so curious about this community and want to visit Kerala during my next trip to India.) Eventually, Thomas made his way to the Chennai area on the south coast of India in 62 AD where he ministered on Little Mount (I'Il post about that location soon) for a couple of years. In 66 AD he was forced to relocate to Grand Mount. In 72 AD, Thomas was killed by a local fanatic with a lance from behind. Grand Mount was since renamed St Thomas Mount in dedication to Thomas' martyrdom with several churches and numerous other statues erected in honour of him. A lot surprised me at St Thomas Mount in Chennai, India. The homage to the Jerusalem crucifixion stations up the pilgrimage slope, the hundreds of holy relics donated by the Catholic Church (shoutout to St Stephen, my namesake), but above all how emotional and spiritual this visit was. There's something incredibly powerful about a man referred to as "Doubting Thomas" being the Apostle to travel the furthest out of all of his brothers. To travel so far to spread The Word and create a Christian presence in a country that's still seen today, almost 2,000 years later. I must have sat in that chapel and reflected, prayed, and meditated for well over an hour. I definitely wasn't alone either with many other visitors doing the same. I also found myself praying briefly to Thomas which surprised me as praying to Saints is not something that I'm usually a fan of It felt more than appropriate given the location though. And it was more of an appreciative prayer, not worship. The experience is still with me over a week later. #india #chennai #christian #christianity

An Iranian missile just struck Jerusalem’s Old City near the Western Wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, some of the holiest sites to Jews, Muslims, and Christians.

Bobby Green, just watched your this, the way your voice broke when you spoke about the execution of Iranian wrestler Navid Afkari, it broke me. You were right. It’s heartbreaking. Today Saleh Mohamadi, 19-year old wrestler executed for protesting. We need your voice again. 💔
Masih Alinejad 🏳️@AlinejadMasih

Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔 After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite. Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial. Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal. I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices. This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

This is an ILLEGAL war on Mordor. We’re told Sauron “poses an existential threat,” yet somehow this involves sending hobbits 1,500 miles to a volcano. Regime change in Mordor will only create a power vacuum filled by worse orcs. Sauron is bad, sure. But is he “march to Mount Doom” bad? Meanwhile second breakfast is underfunded. Tell me again how this puts the Shire first?

With Phases 7-9 being The Mutant Saga (after The Multiverse Saga ends with Secret Wars) we’re probably going to get a few more mutants introduced between now and then. Right now the only mutants introduced in the MCU are Ms Marvel, Namor, and Typhoid Mary (though they didn’t get around to exploring her powers. Hope they bring her back) 🤔🤔🤔

@Shuttlecock I'm falling behind on the MCU rumors! 😆 Yep, that explanation seems very plausible. OMG - I loved that cartoon. Firestar could introduce the X-Men in the MCU 😆Never gonna happen of course, but fun to consider!

@DK_Able Codemasters, the creators of the Game Genie, trapped ancient Sumerian Djinn spirits inside every cartridge with forbidden rites. Those six-letter codes were Anunnaki incantations commanding the spirits to hijack ROM signals to manipulate the game. It's basic programming.

@itsthebartman Sadie Sink has been cast in the movie and it’s been an open secret for a while that she’s playing Jean Grey in the MCU. People speculating this could be her in the trailer.
