@Bert_Plumswang @SkippyBing @BeaverWestminst Wow, I think you might have found the one shit name not actually used by a British Aircraft manufacturer between start of WWI and end of WWII. 🤣
English

@SkippyBing @BeaverWestminst Disappointed that we didn’t call it the Earwig or the Dunnock or something like that.
English

@Bert_Plumswang Well we did name the Mustang, Dakota and Mitchell among others. So I don’t think our naming record was that bad.
English

@SkippyBing @Hush_Kit Will do. I like having books in my library written by people I know.
English

@SiWilson_Flying @Hush_Kit Thanks Si! If you search amazon for 'Bing Chandler aviation books' they all come up, I haven't actually seen them in the wild although oddly friends in the USA have.
English

@SkippyBing @Hush_Kit Sweet work Bing, hadn’t realised you had turned your hand to writing books. Where can one find copies of these?
English

@Hush_Kit Ironically I don't have a copy of that, but I've got two of the helicopter one that isn't out until the 14th!
English

@stuartroxy @MilitaryBanter They were clearly adept at ‘Fraud’ then! 🤣
English

@MilitaryBanter My Adjt once sent me a copy of his ‘Fraud’ competency: he got 104% in the test! 😂😂😂

A Royal Navy pilot has been honoured at the White House for his work with the @USCG on stopping illegal drugs reaching the United States. Lt Cdr Fleming helped stop two vessels carrying more than 3,000kg of cocaine.

@clark_aviation The chock crews might be in place because they are either about to move the aircraft by hand or about to start it as there is someone on the port undercarriage leg looking like they might be getting ready to engage the inertia starting handle. Of course it could just be posed.
English

Flying low level parallel, close to the shoreline in an aircraft is never a good idea for the reason shown in this video. To avoid bird strikes it’s better to fly above 2000ft. Although it looks in this video the pilot has been forced down by low cloud. facebook.com/reel/110234435…

@paynenotes1 It wouldn’t take much for this to horribly wrong.
English

@SiWilson_Flying One twitch and those wheels are flipping it over.

🚁 Flying a helicopter this low over the sea might look badass—but in reality, it’s a dumb way to operate in a high-threat maritime environment.
Here’s why it’s tactically unsound, operationally risky, and basically asking to be shot down: 🧵

No. The short sleeve shirt and tie put a man on the moon and is found in most every airliner cockpit.
America is an aerospace republic - and here we respect the short sleeve shirt and tie.

Kayla Haas@kaylahaas
My brothers in Christ, wearing a tie with a short sleeve collared shirt should be ILLEGAL.

@scottiebateman I think his AEA may have been found to be “contaminated” after landing and probably had to be disposed of! 🙈🤣🤣🤣
