We had the pleasure of welcoming Rahil Nilesh Shah, Managing Director & CEO of NM Medical, accompanied by Rutvik Mehta, Director at NM Medical during their visit to Kenya, which was purposefully centered on touring Dr. Kalebi Labs (DKL)’s state-of-the-art central referral lab# at Real Towers Annexe, engaging with the management team, reviewing service excellence, and exploring strategic collaboration opportunities. NM Medical, founded by Dr. Nilesh M. Shah over 45 years ago, is a premier nationally accredited diagnostic chain in India with a strong presence in Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore. Renowned for advanced imaging, pathology, and comprehensive preventive health check-ups, they have become one of DKL’s key international referral partner lab for rare specialised and esoteric testing having started our engagement earlier this year. Rahil and Rutvik’s visit provided a valuable platform to advance discussions on service enhancements with the DKL management team while strengthening our KYC engagements. They expressed strong appreciation for DKL’s breadth of complex specialized and esoteric testing referrals, that reflect the growing market confidence in our service offering. This engagement comes at a defining moment for DKL. In just 1½ years since inception in October 2024, we have rapidly emerged as the leading homegrown diagnostic lab in Kenya and the region - driven by ultramodern Total Laboratory Automation (TLA), digital pathology and wide range of advanced in-house testing anchored around an innovative, distributed service delivery model. We also held forward-looking discussions around a broader strategic alliance, including potential expansion across East Africa and beyond, in response to DKL’s rapidly growing client base and market penetration plus our expanding Designated Service Partner (DSP) network, enabling DKL to rapidly scale-up access to world-class diagnostics for patients and clinicians across the country and region - at competitive pricing and faster turnaround times. We sincerely thank Rahil and Rutvik for the 2-day visit to Kenya and the highly productive engagements with the @DKLDrKalebiLabs team. We look forward to building a strong, long-term partnership that advances diagnostic excellence and expands access to quality healthcare across Africa and beyond. #DrKalebiLabs #DKL #NMMedical #StrategicPartnership

Ok. I haven't read the Court of Appeal's judgment but surely how can a student internship programme be unconstitutional? As Prof PLO rightly said sometime back the constitution and courts aren't bothered with small things/matters like student internship.
