I'm not quite sure why people have this idea that relegation = instant ENIC sale? Wishful thinking, no - Surely it makes it even less likely?

@Wazza1882 @SibsTHFC I think it’s now a case of selecting players who actually want to fight. I know the next chap won’t but I would get Romero, Porro & VDV to fuck. They clearly think they’re way better than they are and don’t have the stomach for it cos their agents are already sorting moves away

@GMK1706 @Daniel_Shack They always seem to get about 80% there and then just say.. 'that'll do... this lot will be ok for what we want to do' and then stop investing. Goes for overall policy as well as individual deals (Moutinho, Grealish, Fernandes etc)

@Daniel_Shack @SibsTHFC Most board members aren’t football men. They usually hire football men, like Arnesen, Comolli, Mitchell, Paratici, Lange who have experience. But, have they given them the remit? Evidence would say not.

This is why you don’t get rid of people like David Pleat. He would have had the ear of everyone to say ‘Frank is out of his depth’ ‘Tudor is a mistake’ ‘Tudor is making poor decisions’

@GMK1706 They got rid without any proper continuity contingency and all those contacts and knowldge was gone. He had to go, don't get me wrong, but again, complete lack of any planning.

@GMK1706 True, Pleat had been around the club for 30+ years though and seemed to be respected with his opinion until last couple of years. Levy WAS the infastructure because he got so involved in every deal - doesn't seem Vinai is that guy at all.
