Thank You Letter We on behalf of a lot of organizations and Donors who donate blood for Sadar Hospital Blood Bank extend our heart warm gratitude to Dr Prabhat Kumar Civil Surgeon Ranchi @RanchiHealth District Administration, Department of Health and State Government for enhancing the post donation refreshment from Rs 25/- to Rs 50/- . At present at Rs 25/-the blood bank is giving a Frooti for Rs 10/- a piece of cake worth Rs 10/- and a 5 Star chocolate of Rs 5/- There is a huge importance of water which is difficult to cover up in this current provision of Rs 25/- . Right now the water part is being managed by organizations who organize camps but it was always good for the blood bank to become independent in providing the required refreshment. This provision will add 1 litre of water which is the most essential post donation, to keep the donor hydrated and the quality of refreshment can be further improved. This is a massive breakthrough in ensuring SAFE Blood to our patients in Ranchi . This brings a lot of hope and safety especially to the patients living with Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Disease , Aplastic Anemia , Cancer , Kidney Dialysis patients and other blood disorder patients who require regular transfusions NAT-tested blood, which uses Nucleic Acid Amplification Technology, is crucial for enhancing blood safety by detecting the genetic material of viruses and other infectious agents before they can be detected by standard serological tests. This improves the accuracy of screening and reduces the risk of transfusion-transmitted infections (TTIs) like HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C.
