The lead Disney Channel star Lee Thompson Young passed away on August 19, 2013. He committed suicide. Since then Disney Channel never aired “The Famous Jett Jackson” since or put it on Disney+ streaming. The show is never acknowledged despite being the first black lead on the channel and the first series to receive a movie. The only time Disney Channel ever aired Jett Jackson was the movie once on June 9, 2016 during a marathon of every Disney Channel movie airing. In the Hollywood scene behind the scenes there has been speculation and conversations about Lee Thompson Young drinking punch at Hollywood parties that were laced with drugs. Allegedly. Which leads to the question why are we not having more conversations and celebrating the legacy of Lee Thompson Young?
