So someone at @Zimra_11 just wakes up under the influence of whatever, and without consulting the very people they want to tax, decides that taxpayers are not working hard enough over the 30 days in a month so let’s pile up more work on their desks every 30 days for a mere paper called a tax clearance? Then flip-flops after being made aware of how stupid that is. Mweyai unobata vanhu vekuZimra? Even the adjusted requirement is unreasonable. No sane SME will formalize their business only to be burdened by Zimra continuously every 3 months for a mere tax clearance. Being an SME is enough burden on its own. Maybe Zimra must also pay taxes and submit its own tax filings as a way to test the usefulness of their own policies.

The govt is approaching this wrongiy. If there were smart highways with cameras and if the economy was wrll such that @PoliceZimbabwe does not accept briberies and if these roads were upto standard we wont have all of this. Suspending licences is never the solution to this. The roads are not safe and its the duty of the govt to ensure we gave good roads
