Ironically, the Yorkshire Post will use data at every level to plan their business model. The Yorkshire Post will analyse views and hits after ever piece and then use that consider content going forward. James Bord seemingly got it wrong at Sheffield United. It happens. But it doesn't mean the idea to use data is wrong. It just needs to be refined. I can't be bothered to go back and dig them out, but I've picked a lot of players from data that have gone on to have success and get big moves. Prostvard, Dahl, Barry etc. This whole thing of, Bord is looking to use data, is such a nonsense. It's not that he is going to use data, as it should be axiomatically assumed in the modern age that data is going to be used. Chansiri didn't use data - bear that in mind. It's how Bord uses data that requires critique. For me, he was trying to go too obscure in unexplored markets. Risky. Like with a stock investor, only get a small pool from this market at low risk. For me, the best model is to profile based on other players who have been signed to champ clubs from these leagues. Hopefully he will be more careful with his own money. But the talk of data is tiring. The warning flags should be those who aren't maximising data in the modern age at every stage of the business.

@robstaton I’m actually shocked at so many of these responses. The administrators have openly said there will be people out there who don’t know about the availability of the club, and with that will be things such as size and history. This is a huge opportunity to put us in the shop window

Understand staff at Sheffield Wednesday and the administrators see selling the Norwich game out as vital. That could be for more than just financing the club. It’s the last opportunity for prospective buyers to see the full potential of an investment in #SWFC. By the next home game, the Sheffield derby, whilst the sale process will not be close to a conclusion, the chances of new interested parties coming forward is less likely. By that point, the administrators will likely have moved on to the offer stage.
