Dangerous question time ⚠️ Do you find 'gaming' culture, in general, leans more to the right or left wing, ideologically. Not, which way do YOU lean, but based on your time in the hobby, which side do you seem to encounter more often.

Have you ever heard of O'Sullivan’s Law? Any organization not explicitly and constitutionally right-wing will sooner or later become left-wing. What you are attributing to the dominance of leftist ideas in the industry is more explained by O'Sullivan's Law then some nebulous claim that creatives are more progressive. Leftists are actively exclusionary of anyone with right wing political opinion. This leads to them discriminating against them in organizations, less hired, less promoted more fired.

@JoshStrifeHayes Creativity and progressive values tend to be positively correlated, so game devs tend to be progressive, leading to games and gaming spaces which promote those same values.

@EuSouRamiro @JoshStrifeHayes They are also actively exclusionary of anyone that has wrong think political opinions and will actively work to remove people from organizations and for consideration for employment/promotion. This leads to left wing capture of organizations and production companies.

@JoshStrifeHayes It’s just like in real life: the minority leans left, but they’re loud and obnoxious, so it creates the illusion they represent more people than they actually do.

For a native population to have success you need to have a governing body that puts the interests of the people first, that does not mean capitalism because capitalism puts nothing but profits first. Japan needs to think of its children and young families and work towards encouraging both.

@kengakusha1 America succeeded because of settlers not immigrants. Settlers build frontiers into civilization and then immigrants come in to live off the success in already build civilization. Another very important aspect is the original cultures and people America drew from being European.

This girl swears she’s just a normal, basic girl… but listen to her story and tell me if you agree 😂 Her boyfriend of two months stayed over, started snooping, and completely lost it when he opened her drawer full of bird beaks — yes, bird beaks. Then he opens the closet and rat tails go flying everywhere. The whole time she’s repeating “I’m a normal girl” — literally three times — and she’s like “he has sisters… how does he not know this kind of stuff?!” She seems so dead serious the entire time, even sniffling while she tells us her boyfriend left her. I was dying laughing but honestly felt bad for her — she seemed genuinely confused and defeated. Do you think this girl is being completely serious? It kinda seemed like it to me… what do you think? 🤔
