Social media platforms like X.com would be of better use to promote anything positive rather than to be run with simulations and unconsensual experiments on its users. The platform owner should be held accountable.

In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. I find this campaign from @fia a good example of tackling online abuse and supporting targeted individuals. We need more supportive ecosystems like this to encourage participation in social media while confronting the pervasive issue of online abuse.
