@rollo75 @taipan168 “Brz is Celica” - to me that is no problem at all
English

@SilkDiffSlipper @taipan168 Type R is not a small car anymore.
Brz is Celica to be honest
English

Anybody who thinks a Mazda MX-5 is a "hairdresser's car" has no idea about cars.
Four generations since 1989, a heritage approaching that of the Porsche 911, the top selling sportscar of all time and a car that basically every motoring journalist likes.
Skip@kangawallafoxy
@taipan168 You bought a hair dressers car?
English

@rollo75 @taipan168 For something in a similar price range/style with a bit of go about it - to me the Supra or Type R Civic or BRZ are if not mechanically superior (I couldn’t say) at least don’t have the air of a mid-life crisis hanging quite so clammily to them
English

@rollo75 @taipan168 A Mazda 2 is respectable because it is what it purports to be: a reliable, good quality hatchback. My car is boring as batshit but has no pretence of being anything else.
The MX-5 feels like if dress sneakers were a car - trying to make the functional flashy and failing at both.

English

@JakeyoOfficial @fazdogfotog @van00sa Which is in the ground, because it’s not cost effective to extract. So we couldn’t have used it now anyway.
English

@van00sa Pretty much the same as it is now.
You can have all the refineries you want - doesn’t do you any good if the crude product you’re refining isn’t able to be imported.
English

@rcthripp @Johandlebar @van00sa You’re going to cry about “emotionally charged reasoning” when you just made the moronic statement that Australia lacks refineries because of the Voice and gay marriage? Fuck off idiot.
English

@SilkDiffSlipper @Johandlebar @van00sa My wife has NDIS clients and she’s fully aware that there’s legit operators and people who rip the system off, so please spare your emotionally charged reasoning!
English

@rcthripp @Johandlebar @van00sa You’re continuing to miss the point you drooling spastic. Jesus christ - you better pray they don’t shut down NDIS, if there’s anyone who needs help to overcome their disabilities it’s you.
English

@Johandlebar @van00sa Who missed the point?
The 2 examples I gave were both one off events
NDIS is over how long?🤔
English

@van00sa I can’t!
The government would rather spend our tax money on the indigenous voice or the right for same-sex marriage.🤦♂️
English

@Bernstein “I call the style ’diner goth’ because they often have dark hair and lipstick like a goth but they like hanging around in 1950s style diners”
English

@jesushobo @dutchpossum Silence. No one wants to hear your lisping faggotry.
English

@EPavlic @elonmusk @diana_dukic Hey, mousey little plain-jane-no-brain, do you really think Elon’s asking what she thinks because he cares what she thinks?

English

@elonmusk @diana_dukic Elon, don’t worry! Everything is fine! Don’t listen to people who don’t like 𝕏! 🫶
English

@Silentr3bel1 @kmixbye @wetnwild90210 What’s that got to do with anything?
The production cost of a digital book is lower.
English

@kmixbye @wetnwild90210 It’s just easier to carry one tablet with 3 books on it than carrying 3 books
English

@nekomoderr What exactly do you want here?
If a woman is only a woman if she meets certain metrics of behaviour, presentation, and appearance and these things have no essential biological basis and can all be simulated - then being trans is not immutable, is a choice, and gender is a costume
English

@nekomoderr If you don’t want to accept that by being trans you are deconstructing gender roles then you have to accept that gender roles are to some extent physiological and you are imitating and simulating elements you can not naturally supply - *far* more than any cis woman ever has to.
English

@nekomoderr Ok. And you’re not a cis woman - so why would you expect to have one of theirs?
You’re not even following your own logic.
English

@merry123459 @tallzabby That’s not true - at all.
Previous generations did not wait until their 40s to buy a house. You’re just talking absolute shit. Stop embarrassing yourself.
English

@tallzabby 30? Lmao! We were lucky if we or my parents before me could buy our first house in our 40’s and that’s when mortgages were easier to get.
English

You also don’t walk out of college or university expecting to buy a new 4 bedroom house, two cars, boats, skidoos, etc. The reason you struggle is because you aren’t willing to wait and make do like we did. Your entitlement is causing you to struggle.
Bitcoin Teddy@Bitcoin_Teddy
Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $3200 for rent and $10 for eggs. You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.
English

@merry123459 @Bsbcaer “I’m not buying it”?
Ok, those are the facts so you’re just not prepared to face reality.
English

@merry123459 Nobody in the world walks out of college expecting to do those things. Skidoo? What the fuck are you talking about? You’re inventing a non-existent scenario in your imagination to get mad about you dozy cow
English

We don’t live in a democracy if our elected leaders fail to implement the will of the people
