I booked a 2 hr massage for my Mother's Day treat. I booked it at an Asian massage parlor because they're a bit more straightforward than the more upscale American parlors. I also booked it because I recently tweaked my shoulder, and it's hard to get no-nonsense cupping done in my area.
The masseuse is a Chinese immigrant. The massage was $160, and the cupping was an additional $15. That brought the total to $175. The massage was great, so I calculated a 20% tip, which was $35. (Is 20% not good anymore? Please, someone let me know if so.)
This lady straight up was like, "$35 for 2 hour? Normarry, people, they do $50."
I don’t get massages a lot, so I assumed the polite position and thought maybe I was in the wrong. I said something like, "Oh, is that bad? I want to tip well."
Obviously, I paid her the $50 because I was stunned and I am a woman, but that was the most 3rd-world situation I'd been through in a long time.
This experience alone is enough for me to be a single-issue voter on immigration.

I wouldn’t cut across the wire insulation like that specially in that location. You run the risk of damaging the insulation on the wires potentially causing a short down the road.
Generally, you split it down the middle along the ground peel the sheath back and cut.
You don’t double up on a screw terminal like you did with the ground. You should either wire nut a couple pigtails to the ground or use a little more wire to make a U around one outlet terminal and then run the wire over to the other.
There’s a guide on the back of every outlet that tells you how much wire to strip. You definitely did too much on one of those. I would also recommend against using the push ins, especially for an outdoor outlet.

This young man owns his own landscaping business.
On this day he mowed 21 different houses. All he does is mow. He’s got his riding mower and all he paid for was $65 worth of gas that day.

This guy here is walking us through how he does an estimate to mow and weed eat this yard. Pretty straight forward. He is quoting this house at $75 a week to do the yard, so $300 a month, once a week. But, he says if it rains, even if it rains for weeks and they can’t mow, they are getting paid their $75 and if the customer doesn’t like it, they don’t need that customer. Is that the standard in the industry if you are on a weekly schedule with a lawn care company? Are you paying $75 even if they don’t do your yard?

@SillyNilly81 Permits are dependent on location. In Florida we need a non official permit for anything above 8ft tall. Most areas you can only build a 4ft fence until you’re like 20ft from the road then you can do 6ft but 8ft typically requires a permit

Took about 18 man hours and I did it solo
Total charge was about $2800
Since I did it solo profit comes out to $2400
Spent $400 on one time purchase tools
So take home is around $2000
