With Twitter dying are we facing another moment where online food chat evolves? I still miss the days of eGullet, Chowhound, Opinionated About, Nomnom etc. there was the bollocks, but the chat was interesting. Where next? Maybe Reddit or a new 21st century forum?

@theboydonefood Aeropress would work well for that amount of coffee. It's a nightmare if you're trying to make more than 1 or 2 cups at a time.

@theboydonefood Very different coffee to a cafetiere. Also, depending on the size of cafet. you have, it'll probably make less. But I much prefer my coffee from an aero. It's def not espresso, but it's getting a bit closer than cafet does.

Can anyone recommend a decent hand blender / smallish food processor? Had a magimix which I rarely used, finding it too big and preferred my Braun hand blender / mixer attachment. That's now died. Anyone have views on what's good.

@youngandfoodish @Tripadvisor @instagram For years I’ve wanted to create an app called ‘Don’t go here’. Basically it knows your location and if you get too close to a rubbish establishment a big red sign appears on your phone and it starts buzzing. Think OAD for the high street.

The echo chamber that is social media has created a new generation of tourist traps. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️reviews planted on @tripadvisor or sexy images posted on @instagram are disseminated & legitimised by food websites. The tourists converge, confirming the truth of what got them there.
