Been coding for over a decade, but I'm still mystified by version control systems. I do a `git fetch` every single time, and I've honestly got no idea if I need to.
Football History in Colour🎨
An amazing photo - Stanley Matthews is carried by legendary goalkeepr Lev Yashin and Hungarian icon Ferenc Puskas after his testimonial match. (1965)

They’ve recently reopened the Co-op near me after a full refurbishment. I’m going now for the first time and I’m buzzing to see what they’ve done.
What exciting thing is happening in your life at the minute?
Canals play a crucial role in providing much-needed habitat for wildlife. This #WorldWildlifeConservationDay, we'd love to know about your favourite wildlife sighting along our canals or rivers. 🤔🦋🦆🦊
🦢 Swan on the River Soar
@MarcCorbishley Yes please. Our tradition is to remove the lid and every currant stuck to the underside is how many “sweethearts” you have in your life 😍
Swans look so peaceful and elegant at the same time🦢
Share with us your favourite photos of the elegant bird below.
Each will be an example of why it’s vital to #KeepCanalsAlive 👇
@MarcCorbishley 1979 - I put a set of Cow Horns on to my yellow Puch racer.
Girlfriend’s father asked me not to go round their house on it as he couldn’t get passed it when I parked in the side passage!
@71Season Thanks for including John Marsh. The epitome of reliable, loyal, heroic and of course doughty. Makes me weep when I think of the lack of such characters at my club specifically and football in general.
@MarcCorbishley Yes! Sure mine were silver too. First one - lost it, second one - broke it,
third one - might even have it still. There were so many features my little head nearly exploded.
@MarcCorbishley Usually followed by father Derrick saying “Blast your eyes boy” (didn’t understand it then or now) or mother Mary making a big show of rattling everything in the kitchen utensil drawer looking for the wooden spoon to slap you across the legs. She never actually found the spoon!
@eziolunedei A quiet Sunday in Peterborough?
No, it was a joy and great fun at The Ostrich Inn. Uplifting songs, sad songs, a glamourous assistant (not pictured) and shining wit!
