One day I’ll tell my story, and hopefully it resonates with even just one person who’ll be inspired to keep showing up! Grateful to everyone who has been a part of my journey so far. “A' luta continua, vitória é certa”

but rarely seen expressed so clearly. I am honored to quietly share in this contemplation and truth. These words offer only a glimpse into the life of Dr. Augustus White. Reading his story, I felt both reverence and a calm, resolute sense of alignment.

🧵regarding the technique of 2-handed knot tying. It's July again, so it's a good time to revisit this 🧵. 2-handed tying is becoming a lost art in surgery, but I believe it is worth learning. We'll start with just the basic steps. Advanced concepts will come later. (1/)

Academic tools don't improve your research. Your brain does. But finding the right tools makes your brain work better. You don’t need more coffee. You need fewer tabs open. (And I'll DM you my free course if you engage with this post)

Would there be anyone interested in a part time data-entry job? Im looking at expanding the osteosynthesis.org case library, but dont personally have the time to go through cases, save images, and extract clinical data before uploading it to the database 👇 #orthotwitter

The Influence of Subscapularis Muscle Split Location on Subscapularis Function After the Latarjet Procedure Latarjet surgery deforms subscapularis muscle fibers below the level of the split, changing subscapularis leverage and line of force. The midlevel subscapularis muscle split in the Latarjet procedure confers greater mechanical advantage in terms of shoulder depressor function and stabilizing potential than that associated with an upper-third or lower-third split, particularly in the ABER and apprehension positions. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/23…

Healthcare has been waiting to be disrupted for SO LONG! Watch this: 1. Electronic Medical Records: 1972 2. Medical Image Viewers: 1985 3. Paper consent form: 1950 4. Pager for doctors: 1950s 5. ICD Coding system: 1949 6. Fax for referrals: 1960s The shocker? 👇 Those things handle 45B Spine market alone and 1.1T global referrals and authorization market. Don’t you think it’s time? @Spine_DAO

Healthcare ranks near the bottom in adaptability and efficiency, despite housing some of humanity’s most needed services. It’s not only that boundriless innovation is lacking — it’s also the deployment that is amazingly broken and archaic.

As an orthopedic surgeon, father and grandfather I haven’t said anything about these E-Bikes and E-Scooters but I have seen enough. They are extremely dangerous and children shouldn’t be riding these, especially without helmets. You should have to have drivers license to operate one. I see children riding these, going too fast, going right through stop signs and into traffic. I see 7yo riding these things to/home from school. I have seen horrific injuries and heard of fatalities. We have to protect children even if their parents think this ok. I’m not a “rules guy” usually and think best to leave people alone to make their own choices, but these are children. I’m sure there is some lobbying group for these that will block any ban on kids of operating these but we must do something. Thoughts? @DrDiGiorgio
