One small platoon of Irish peacekeepers has refused Israel's demand to evacuate their post in Lebanon. Circa 300 Irish soldiers are not relinquishing their post. Unlike the Dutch in Srebrenica. 70 members of the platoon who were on leave before Israel's invasion wish to rejoin their unit. This is not bullshit 'breaking news' some of the big pro-Palestinian accounts push out so they can monetize your eye-balls, this is real and inspiring. Am sure the number of 300 was not done on purpose to evoke comparisons to the 300 Spartans under Leonidas, but some Spartan determination on the part of Europe would be much appreciated in halting the Israeli lunatic state irishtimes.com/ireland/2024/1…

U.S. student protestors, take advantage of this golden once in a lifetime opportunity to move to Yemen. I hear they are super accepting of all kinds, and the student accommodations are first class. It is very similar to being an Ivy League student.

Remember Omar Hamed, a 16-year-old from the village of Beitin-Ramallah, who was ruthlessly murdered three weeks ago in retaliation for the death of Binyamin Achimair, the Israeli child who was found murdered. Today, Israeli police arrested the settler who shot Omar to death. The settler, a 34-year-old from the settlement of Beit El, was charged with murder as an act of terrorism. May the memory of Omar and Achimair be a blessing.

On a serious note, my slightly spicy take is that generally speaking people over-estimate how stoked the cops are to crack the skulls of kids, and underestimate how stoked administrators are to have the skulls of their kids cracked.
