@LondonFire My now deceased next door neighbour was a firefighter from Shoreditch fire station and attended the Moorgate crash. I'm sure it had a profound affect on him for the rest of his life.

Today, firefighters in the City of London will take part in a service to mark 50 years since the #Moorgate Tube Crash in 1975. 43 people lost their lives, and 74 people were injured. To this day, the thoughts of the entire Brigade remain with their families and friends.
