As exposed by @mishtal the BBC’s documentary, Gaza: Inside a Warzone, platformed Hamas-linked figures. Why is the licence fee being used to promote Hamas propaganda? Were they just given airtime, or were they given cash too? Hamas controls Gaza. How did the Beeb greenlight a programme from there without making sure its participants weren’t tied to a terrorist regime? Would they be this reckless if they were reporting from North Korea or Iran? Doubt it. This isn’t a bug—it’s a feature of a system that’s gone very wrong. That’s why I’ve written to the DG of the BBC calling for an independent inquiry into the BBC’s entire pattern of systemic bias against Israel. Our licence fee should not be used for this.

Having been a Govt Chief Whip I can imagine what the current incumbent of that role is doing. His team of Whips will be calling round their “flocks” & hear “loud rumblings” about the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

🚨 NEW: The King invited Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner to visit Cornwall today to see the new suburb in Newquay being developed by the Duchy of Cornwall The visit comes ahead of Starmer’s housebuilding announcement later this week - a topic he regularly discusses with the King

@MATatBucks Did you complain when your Tory Government cut jobs "a decade" ago? Did I miss that stream of invective

Another Labour MP being investigated for making ‘unacceptable’ comments on social media. Not a good look. No doubt the same outrage as was afforded when Conservatives were accused of any failing? ….what? #TheSilenceoftheTrolls

@MATatBucks You are a misogynist, but then no new news there.

What did the Bank of England’s interest rates report say? 🧵 The Bank cut their growth forecast for this year from 1.5% to just 0.75%. They increased their forecast for inflation this year from 2.75% to 3.5%. They increased their unemployment forecast from 4.25% to 4.5%.
