This beautiful young woman is Vicki Williams, a history teacher from Pembrokeshire, Wales. On February 5, a 15 year old student walked into her empty classroom and asked her to check his homework. He then closed the door. He walked up to her, pulled a knife out of his bag and stabbed her in the head. This was a sustained attack that only stopped when another teacher intervened. Vicki was rushed to hospital and thankfully survived. The boy was prosecuted and in court said that Vicki had tried to grab the knife from his bag and he “accidentally assaulted her”. The prosecution said that he had sought out a lone teacher who he could attack. Yesterday, he boy was found not guilty attempted murder. He was found guilty of wounding with intent. He will be sentenced on September 3 but will probably get a few months at a juvenile facility. I doubt that this will change his behaviour.
