My son’s School dropped a message in the WhatsApp group: "Dear parents, kindly note that the official school sweaters are available at only 260,000." …….ONLY??? I read it again to confirm there wasn't a decimal point hiding. Then I asked, "is it ABRYAN'S supplying the sweaters?" Because for 190k, this sweater must come with WiFi, DSTV and airtime. For a sweater that will be lost by third term & found being used as a goalpost? One parent says: "These sweaters must be sown by AAA." I said, "At this price, I want to rear the sheep the wool came from. Then admin sent a warning: "Let's keep the group respectful & focused." I said, "I am focused. I'm trying to understand if this sweater also teaches homework." The admin removed both that parent and I 😂

Why can’t MPs swear in at once? They all go to Kololo with their relatives, each comes with a constitution, bible/Quran and they all in unison repeat after the person administering the oath. Function ends in 30 minutes or less and they go to work. We have a US$500b economy to build…

Last evening, after the inauguration ceremony at Kololo, I joined @KagutaMuseveni and guests from fraternal political parties for a dinner at the Serena Hotel, organised by @NRMOnline secretariat. We discussed how we can share our historical experiences in the struggles against colonialism and Western imperialism to boost the potential of the African people by promoting socio-economic transformation. Africa’s vulnerability lies in its inability to address the economic needs of its people. H.E. @KagutaMuseveni guided us and called upon all political parties to concentrate on "defogging" the youth, encouraging them to look toward the strategic security, fraternity and unity of Africa, so that we can avoid the past mistakes of our leaders and make our continent strong again.
