@Henkka_S @RogerGeissler @BCStruggleLeag The secret speach of kruschtschow inflicted the people with historical nihilsm and the oportunistic bureaucrats took over instead of new waves of workers and peasants cadre.
It was at that point a necessary counter measure to western sabotage which was super widespread.

@MysteriosoX Yes but it’s a very small one that goes off after two pushes.

@thesundaysport @Mr_Trubshawe Never been in Asda in Stanley. It would make the most committed pacifist get something large calibre and belt fed and start blasting.
English

@Mr_Trubshawe The trick is to get there at opening time. At 7am, the Asda is England's finest supermarket.

Steven has never been in an ASDAS.

Sainsbury's is not a supermarket It is a dystopian hell hole.

Corbyn had some good ideas. One was codetermination - workers on boards. Second was wage earner funds - corporations would transfer 1% into worker funds every year until workers controlled 10% (this is modest - the original Swedish proposal envisaged majority ownership). But these proposals terrified the crap out of capital, which launched a ferocious campaign against Corbyn.

Is it time to recall that it was Ed who ennobled Maurice Glasman? He who rightly spoke of pre-distribution? Time to see what Milibandites, Blue Labour and the more reflective Corbynites can agree upon? Successful agendas combine compromise with real edge. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

@theradgeygadgey @ZackPolanski Do you think they can swing over and bomb Blyth...🤣🤣🤣
English

@OldRoberts953 The idea that people need bribing to say Miliband's a twat!

@Mattisamazing33 And my dad left me 7 Fiat Pandas when he died, only one of which was roadworthy.

@dom_lucre I've watched this dozens of times and I still have no idea what it's about.

Today I have trolls mocking my "toy aeroplanes" but these "toys" of mine are all ones I've built by hand. The process involves looking carefully at all the constituent parts, cleaning them up and preparing them, thinking about how they're going to be assembled, and in what order, when instructions are not always clear or accurate.
The quality of the end result always depends on the level of preparation and the standards you set for yourself. Every cut corner leads to a diminished result. Moreover, when you cut the corners, and tell yourself it will do because nobody else cares, you deprive yourself of the satisfaction of creating something beautiful that people stop to look at. That, in case you missed it, is the essential point I make about political parties.

@MysteriosoX And that followed him from Holywell to Llangefni and to Beaumaris.

@MysteriosoX As someone whose grandfather was “Williams the Bank”, I understand this completely.

Documentary years ago about the Welsh Guards in Northern Ireland. Out on patrol the officer was shouting commands to people by number ("17, go wide, 8 pull back" and so on) and explained that they had to because if they called to Jones or Evans half the platoon would turn round

Why kids at British schools are usually called by their last name: 17 yo was in a five-a-side football match, and all five boys on the team had the same first name.
