@bambibristol I feel like he’s got a new writing job, which is in a new form of media, and involves utilising divisive speech in order to destabilise and interrupt discourse which has normalised the acceptance of broad sets of beliefs. Not sure what the end-game involves though.

It was clearly a mistake for Pretti to turn up with a gun but there is zero evidence he ever unholstered it, much less tried to use it. He was unarmed and on the ground when 10 bullets were pumped into him. Nor was it illegal for him to carry a concealed weapon. He had a licence. Much as I dislike US gun laws, that is the law. For MAGA zealots like Patel who’ve endlessly championed the 2nd amendment right to cary a concealed weapon to attack Pretti for doing so is at once hilarious and hypocritical. There is no limit to their obfuscations.
