When someone like @RealCandaceO with enormous reach presents this kind of rhetoric as Catholic teaching, the damage is not only political. It is ecclesial. The Church disciplines her own when public contradiction of core teaching creates scandal and confusion among the faithful. Excommunication would not place @RealCandaceO beyond mercy. It would be mercy, albeit severe. Sometimes love requires not silence, but correction. 6/7

.@RealCandaceO's rhetoric about Jews and Judaism crosses both lines: it violates the Eighth Commandment and contradicts the Church’s magisterial teaching, especially Vatican II’s rejection of contempt toward Jews as Jews. Conspiracy claims, collective accusations, blood libel, and Holocaust denial are not legitimate criticisms of policy. They are false witness dressed up as Catholic commentary. 5/7

The second pillar is Vatican II’s teaching on the Jewish people. Nostra Aetate makes clear that the Jews are not rejected or accursed by God; the Church instead recalls that God’s covenantal gifts & call are irrevocable. To portray Jews as collectively corrupt or demonic is therefore not only hateful. It is anti-Catholic. 4/7
