Ever wondered what Static WordPress actually is? Like.. without all the technical lingo? Gina sat down and started a new video series to explain the concept to you: youtu.be/AAvQqnb9lHU

Amazing what we achieved with @SimplyStaticWP Studio. I never worked on something semi-DevOps as this. It's really a great learning experience. So much work goes on in the background that customers can't see and can't appreciate :D

I don't tweet often... but I felt the need to give a shoutout to @patrickposner_ for @SimplyStaticWP. Holy sh*t is it good. Honestly, I'm never running #WordPress on a "normal" host again. Static versions are safer, faster, and just plain better.

Building something fun for @SimplyStaticWP. This is an accountability post for myself to finish it sooner. Hopefully, "launching" in early April 🤞

We've just completed our Elementor integration and it's the first of many to come. I'm putting together a checklist for marketing new integrations. Here's what I have so far... Marketing new integrations checklist ✅ Write how-to doc ✅ Write announcement blog post/email ✅ Build integrations directory on marketing site and add new integration to the list ✅ Ask if company is willing to post about it on their social/email list/blog ✅ Add it to the company's add-on directory ✅ Update .org readme if relevant ✅ Check if company has any "how tos" or "top plugins" lists that are relevant and see if we can be added into them. Do you do all of these things? What did I miss?

@SimplyStaticWP @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio Appreciate that -- anything to make the process more streamlined and less dependent on undesired plugins or more external subscriptions/services. 😅

Cloudflare Turnstile. This was harder than expected, but with the next update, you can protect your static forms with Cloudflare Turnstile. Add your keys in the settings, and we will auto-append the widget to all your forms automatically on the next static export.

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio Honestly? Demand. Our team is still small, and while we try to add everything, Elementor and Divi are a massive part of our user base (I think we all know why.. 😅), whereas Bricks is still an outlier (yet!)

@SimplyStaticWP @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio curious - what is the performative difference between all the other options provided and Bricks that it's not supported natively? It just seems more... out of the box ready... if it was as easily integrated as Elementor, for example?

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio I created an issue so that we can review that - maybe we can ship a trimmed-down version of this as part of the plugin in the next update (without our spam detection, proxy setup, etc) - just the webhook and the UI to store submissions in WP!

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio It doesn't support embedding, but the webhook (which is the more common usage anyway). There should really be no reason to embed a form created with Bricks unless I miss something.

@madebykoi @KadenceWP If you don't mind, shoot us an e-mail to support@simplystatic.com with anything you're missing! After integrating Bricks Forms (+ BricksForge Forms), there wasn't really a need for a dedicated integration, since @bricksbuilderio already works great statically.

@iansvo @jeffr0 Not really. A static WP site has a much better global TTFB compared to a cache. A cache won't protect your site; a Static WP setup does. People use Simply Static primarily due to security and regulatory concerns - performance is often a secondary consideration.

@jeffr0 I really don’t understand the appeal of static site generation for WordPress. A page cache effectively does the exact same thing. If you’re using WordPress anywhere in the stack, then it comes with the same considerations and concerns. It’s just more complicated now.

If you're going to get on LinkedIn and spout some crap about WordPress to tout your dumb static site generator tech stack sales pitch, at least spit out facts. Signed, someone who doesn't like the smell of bullshit.
