We've just completed our Elementor integration and it's the first of many to come.
I'm putting together a checklist for marketing new integrations. Here's what I have so far...
Marketing new integrations checklist
✅ Write how-to doc
✅ Write announcement blog post/email
✅ Build integrations directory on marketing site and add new integration to the list
✅ Ask if company is willing to post about it on their social/email list/blog
✅ Add it to the company's add-on directory
✅ Update .org readme if relevant
✅ Check if company has any "how tos" or "top plugins" lists that are relevant and see if we can be added into them.
Do you do all of these things? What did I miss?

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio Hey @madebykoi did you catch the 2.1 update?
This one is almost exclusively made for you, haha.

English

@SimplyStaticWP @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio Appreciate that -- anything to make the process more streamlined and less dependent on undesired plugins or more external subscriptions/services. 😅
English

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio Honestly? Demand. Our team is still small, and while we try to add everything, Elementor and Divi are a massive part of our user base (I think we all know why.. 😅), whereas Bricks is still an outlier (yet!)
English

@SimplyStaticWP @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio curious - what is the performative difference between all the other options provided and Bricks that it's not supported natively? It just seems more... out of the box ready... if it was as easily integrated as Elementor, for example?
English

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio I created an issue so that we can review that - maybe we can ship a trimmed-down version of this as part of the plugin in the next update (without our spam detection, proxy setup, etc) - just the webhook and the UI to store submissions in WP!
English

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio We don't have a webhook internally - the endpoint is sadly hallucinated! 😅 We do have that on Static Studio (where we handle all the processing, spam protection, etc), but not in the plugin-only version: docs.simplystatic.com/article/149-fo…
English

@madebykoi @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio It doesn't support embedding, but the webhook (which is the more common usage anyway).
There should really be no reason to embed a form created with Bricks unless I miss something.

English

@SimplyStaticWP @KadenceWP @bricksbuilderio Yeah... it exists in a dropdown, but it doesn't actually do anything. There is even a message. What's the trick to get it to work?

English

@madebykoi @KadenceWP If you don't mind, shoot us an e-mail to support@simplystatic.com with anything you're missing!
After integrating Bricks Forms (+ BricksForge Forms), there wasn't really a need for a dedicated integration, since @bricksbuilderio already works great statically.

@jeffr0 I really don’t understand the appeal of static site generation for WordPress.
A page cache effectively does the exact same thing. If you’re using WordPress anywhere in the stack, then it comes with the same considerations and concerns. It’s just more complicated now.

I've been loving my experiments with @SimplyStaticWP, went to follow the dev (@patrickposner_ ) & learned they also work on @BuildWithOllie - That makes perfect sense given the amazing quality of work and incredible user interfaces! Great work over there! 🙌 #WordPress

We have launched yet another update to our Static Studio platform, introducing two-factor authentication (2FA) and CDN-level redirects.
This is just the beginning of what we have planned for the following weeks - stay static! 😎
