Congratulations and welcome to you my Brother, you were there from the beginning in 2023, and as per our call last night we reflected on the role you played when MK PARTY was announced. There couldn’t have been a better person to take over this responsibility than you.✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

During the parliamentary debate on the section 89 report on Phala Phala, Ramaphosa said he’s taking the report on review. If you follow parliamentary proceedings, you’ll find this. Then after the debate, he withdrew the review application. Now, Concourt says parliament must start the impeachment process and he says he’s taking the report on review. His legal team is misleading him, that report gave effect to the process of impeachment which Concourt says it must now start. No court can review the Concourt Order and CR knows it. In his mind, he wants to play delay tactics, he’s just postponing the inevitable. The man is going, no 2 ways about it! #RegisterToVoteEFF

Parliament cannot be stopped by reviewing the panel report. There is precedence to this when section 194 committee was in session. Digging their own graves now they fall into them. Below is a case where he tried to review the report directly to Concourt. Speaker must refer the panel report to the Impeachment committee. Even interdicting the report won’t help.

This is wrong in all respects. That's what the apartheid regime did to Steve Biko. It might be nice to your ears and eyes for now but this is inhumane and disrespectful. Who's this guy? A murderer or an honorable member of parliament who went about doing what he's elected to do?

An Open Letter to Judge Ratha Dear Judge Ratha, I write this letter as a deeply concerned South African who has been closely observing the proceedings in your courtroom. What many citizens have witnessed has raised serious questions about fairness, respect, and the true meaning of justice in our courts. South Africans grow up believing that the courtroom is the final refuge of justice — a place where truth matters, where power and money do not determine the outcome, and where every person is treated equally before the law. Yet what has unfolded in your courtroom has shaken that belief for many people across this country. The conduct and atmosphere of the proceedings have left many with the painful impression that justice is not being served in a manner that reflects the dignity and impartiality expected from the judiciary. Courts are meant to inspire confidence in the public, but instead many citizens now watch these proceedings with growing frustration and disbelief. A judge carries enormous authority, but with that authority comes an even greater responsibility — the responsibility to act with fairness, restraint, and respect toward everyone who appears before the court. When that balance is lost, it damages not only the case at hand but also the credibility of the entire justice system. History is unforgiving when it comes to moments like these. Long after the legal arguments have faded and the trial has ended, the actions of those entrusted with power will remain on record. Judges are not only accountable to the law; they are also accountable to the judgment of history and the nation's conscience. If the people begin to believe that the courts no longer protect the vulnerable or guarantee fairness, the very foundation of justice begins to crumble. South Africans deserve better. They deserve courts that uphold the Constitution without prejudice, without arrogance, and without any appearance of bias. Today many people are watching and asking difficult questions about what they have seen. Those questions will not disappear with the closing of a trial. They will remain part of the public record, and history will judge those who had the power to uphold justice but failed to do so. Judge Ratha, the robe you wear represents the highest ideals of justice in our country. It is not only a symbol of authority, but a symbol of accountability. The nation expects that authority to be exercised with integrity and fairness at all times. One day the pages of history will reflect on what has happened in this courtroom. When that day comes, the question will not be about legal technicalities — it will be about whether justice was truly respected and whether those entrusted with power honoured the responsibility placed upon them. South Africans are watching. And history will judge you harshly. Respectfully, A Concerned South African Citizen. #SenzoMeyiwaTrial @OCJ_RSA

Suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu Wants to Return to African National Congress Duties Despite Ongoing Madlanga Commission Investigation Into Alleged SAPS Political Interference Suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu is ready to return to his political responsibilities within the African National Congress. His spokesperson, Sithembiso Mshengu, announced this at a prayer rally in Durban, stating that the Mchunu plans to formally notify the party of his decision. Mchunu voluntarily stepped aside from the ANC's National Executive Committee and National Working Committee in November last year. This followed allegations of political interference in South African Police Service operations and links to criminal elements, raised by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lt Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. President Cyril Ramaphosa placed him on special leave from the Police Ministry in July last year. The announcement came during the third prayer gathering in support of Mchunu, held at Greyville Racecourse in Durban. Mshengu said Mchunu intends to write to ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula to request resumption of his organisational roles. Mchunu remains confident that ongoing investigations, including the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry and a parliamentary ad hoc committee, will clear him of wrongdoing. Mchunu's move to reverse his step-aside follows completion of preparations for appearances before the inquiry bodies. No response from the ANC has been reported yet, and his special leave from the Cabinet position continues pending the outcome of the probes.

Breaking news MKP Takes Legal Action to Block Shamila Batohi’s Pension The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) has filed an urgent application in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria to prevent the payment of pension and other post-employment benefits to former National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) Advocate Shamila Batohi. In court documents submitted on Monday, the MKP is seeking an interdict prohibiting several state entities including the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), National Treasury, and the Government Employees Pension Fund from approving or disbursing Batohi’s pension until the party’s pending review application has been finalised. The party’s urgent bid is based on allegations that Batohi was guilty of misconduct, neglect of duty, and possible perjury during her time as NDPP, claims the MKP argues must be properly investigated before she is allowed to receive public money. The court papers set out three forms of legal remedy: blocking the pension payment, securing the funds if payment is made, and authorising the MKP to reclaim the money should a future review rule in its favour. The party has also called on President Cyril Ramaphosa to institute a formal inquiry into Batohi’s conduct under the National Prosecuting Authority Act. Batohi, whose term as NDPP recently came to an end, has been linked to the ongoing Nkabinde Inquiry, which has examined certain decisions made during her tenure. The inquiry is expected to conclude by June. Respondents in the case have until early March to indicate whether they intend to oppose the application.
