Lindsey was a patriot and dedicated public servant. He loved South Carolina and America, and dedicated decades to defending both.
Jeanette and I are praying for him and his family — may he rest in peace.

In the latest wave of U.S.-Iran exchanges, U.S. strikes targeted Iranian military sites near the Strait of Hormuz, including Qeshm Island.
Qeshm is Iran's largest island in the Persian Gulf and a key strategic area for coastal defense, radars, and naval assets.
American strikes have seemed a lot more methodical in recent days. This could indicate that they acted deliberately during previous strikes to avoid significant damage or casualties.
Now, patience is running thin.

🚫 CLAIM: The Iranian commander for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Navy recently said on state-owned media that no foreign vessels may pass through the Strait of Hormuz without being identified, tracked, and monitored by Iranian forces.
✅ FACT: Iran does not control the Strait of Hormuz. It remains an international waterway. U.S. forces are positioned and prepared to keep it that way.

In this video, you can see my Tesla moving aside for a motorcycle because the rider dangerously overtakes me on the left by crossing the solid center line. If my Tesla hadn’t moved over, the motorcyclist could have collided head-on with the oncoming Saab. It was a very close call. Please watch until the end of the video.

Ukraine has exceeded every expectation in terms of liberating their country from Russian invasion and is worthy of continued increased support. My Russia sanctions bill with Senator Blumenthal can make a real difference. The legislation - with wide and deep bipartisan support - would allow President Trump to put tariffs on the top countries that buy cheap Russian oil and natural gas to prop up Putin’s war machine. In my opinion, this summer is the time to go all in to put pressure on Putin to get to the peace table and end the bloodbath.

Lindsey Graham came from humble beginnings and became one of the most powerful lawmakers in the most powerful nation on Earth. His story was a fundamentally American one.
Early in my Senate tenure, I remember getting into a shouting match with Lindsey about a Ukraine funding bill at lunch and then learning the very next day that he was pushing rail legislation I really cared about behind the scenes. That was Lindsey Graham. He fought like hell for the things he believed in, and he was just as willing to go to bat for you when it counted.
Lindsey had the best sense of humor in the Senate. He loved the game of politics. He was constantly asking which races were up and down, and how he could help. As he liked to say, “I don't care if you're an isolationist or a religious fanatic, so long as you have an R next to your name, I want you to win.”
We certainly had our disagreements. But I couldn't help but like him. A one of a kind figure in our politics. I'll be praying for him and his family.
