Michigan has a MUCH easier path to the CFP than Alabama. M-U-C-H!!! They play Ohio St every year, plus 1-2 of USC, Oregon, & Penn St. Compare that to Alabama, who has Tennessee & Auburn annually, plus 3 of Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Georgia, Florida, A&M. Alabama is guaranteed to play 2-3 more premier brands per year. Or said another way, they're guarantee to play double the number of premier brands per year of Michigan.

@iflyhiFL410 If anything, every @Big12Conference fan should cheer for an 11-1 Texas Tech play an 11-1 BYU in Arlington and for BYU to beat Texas Tech by less than a touchdown. It would put a lot of pressure on the CFP committee to do the right thing.

While I am no BYU fan, and am cheering for them to lose.
It just doesn’t make sense that BYU is ranked so low.
Losses don’t mean anything apparently.
If BYU has the SEC patch, they make the playoffs.
If TTU has the SEC patch, they are at #4 (or higher)

It's pretty concerning that a 10-1 Big 12 team with two wins over ranked teams and a lone loss to #5 isn't deemed good enough for the College Football Playoff.

The CFP committee slides Oregon up to No. 6, and Ole Miss falls to No. 7.
Surprised by that, considering Ole Miss’ best win is better than Oregon’s.

The more you look at it, Oregon’s résumé isn’t even close to BYU’s.
Oregon’s best win is 6-4 Iowa.

The Cougars have five wins better than Oregon’s best, and they’re 4 spots behind them.

If Texas plays Baylor instead of Ohio State, there's no getting around the fact that they would be No.8 in the playoff rankings right now.
Scheduling hard in the non-conference is going to cost it a playoff spot. Unless they lose a 4th game.
