Would it be easier for Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League or by playing once a week without European engagement next season (if we fail to qualify this season)? I think playing once a week will be easier. In a knockout competition, one mistake and you are out. Also, due to the short World Cup break, many players will return tired. I can guarantee you that if Man United are in the Europa League this season, they will be struggling against us. Once a week is a cheat code. Newcastle is the same; every time they miss Europe, they finish in the top 5. It's not a coincidence. If we miss Europe and improve the squad, there is a slim possibility that we could fight for the title, because I see a very complicated 2026/27 season for big teams due to the number of players they will have at the World Cup.
