I actually think the hype kind of matters. I was totally pro-Claude until 5.5 came out. That happened and I felt like I was in a bubble of people saying 5.5 is so awesome you need to switch. Then I saw someone pestering @sama about the performance of 5.0 and his response was something like a casual “what about 5.5”. I tried it and hopped on the pro plan like an hour later

Some of these comments are sad. I’m certain this woman feels deep pain everyday of her life about this. I’m also pretty sure it’s why she looks healthier than ever, is trying to do better, etc. You’ll never pick yourself up by putting other people down. The situation isn’t ideal but we’re all human and imperfect in our own ways. Most of us are just lucky we aren’t famous enough for people to care about the mistakes we make along our journeys

@MKBHD We are just adjusting to this landscape at humans. Things ship all the time on the old technology stack that only get noticed by people whom the releases are relevant to. AI products will not be different. Right now people just feel anxiety to keep with all things AI
