"the orgy thing is a joke" a few vtubers have been saying that it's real thing. just because you personally haven't seen it, doesn't mean it's not real. the problem isn't "consenting adults doing what they want" it's the fact going to orgy parties is being normalized now. and at places like OFFKAI where someone as low as 13 years old can attend i feel like this is treading on dangerous territory. i don't trust any of these weird sex meet ups. even where i am, at a local convention some people approached me and a friend and tried to coax us into joining them for some sort of shady sex party. they were super insistent (which was creepy as hell) and eventually gave my friend a cigarette because they noticed he smokes. my friend, trying to be nice, still took the cig and lit it up to smoke. it was, of course, laced with some shit and he immediately got a panic attack after one tiny drag. after that experience, i just can't really trust these meet ups to be anything but weird. even LEWDTUBERS are saying it's better to avoid them. but hey, if you wanna go to one of these orgy parties to collect STDs like pokemon cards or maybe get drugged, be my guest-

Lords of the Fallen II – Important Publishing Update! Independent developer CI Games today announced that it has signed a separation agreement with Epic Games Publishing. As a result, CI Games has regained full open distribution rights for the PC version of Lords of the Fallen II, moving away from the previous PC-exclusive publishing arrangement signed in June 2024. Lords of the Fallen II remains scheduled to launch later this year on PC via Epic Games Store and other PC storefronts, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. CI Games will self-publish the title across all platforms, while PLAION continues as the global physical distribution partner. CI Games will continue to utilise Epic’s technologies, including Unreal Engine 5 and Epic Online Services (EOS), powering cross-platform play, matchmaking, friends list, and seamless shared-progression co-op. Like many in the industry, CI Games faced challenging market conditions in 2023 and 2024, and Epic Games provided significant funding and strategic support that helped ensure Lords of the Fallen II could fully realise its ambitions. This partnership enabled CI Games to meaningfully expand upon community feedback from the original Lords of the Fallen, while substantially advancing the sequel across gameplay, technical performance, world design, and online functionality. “Epic was there for CI Games exactly when we needed them most. Their support and belief in the project made a real difference, and for that we are truly grateful,” said Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games. “Epic has been an outstanding supporter of Lords of the Fallen II. @ToxiKuma I keep saying that the current state of (mostly western indie) vtubing is a competition of who can be the least idol-like as possible, you don't need to have any noteworthy skills, just talk in a sultry voice and upload NSFW content and boom, you're a vtuber now, I guess.

OnlyFans & Fansly are quietly ruining the VTuber space. What started as creative anime avatars, gaming, singing, and fun personalities is turning into a softcore pipeline. New “VTubers” debut with heavy NSFW models and immediately push subs, PPV, and lewd content instead of building actual streaming skills or lore. The cute idol/waifu culture that made VTubing special is getting drowned in low-effort coomer bait. Talented SFW creators get outpaced by those who just sell thighs and moans. The barrier to entry dropped from “be entertaining” to “have a sexy model and an OF link in bio.” The audience is shifting too. Real fans who loved the hobbyist energy are leaving, replaced by people treating every VTuber like premium camgirls with extra steps. VTubing is becoming less about virtual performance and more about virtual OnlyFans with better production value. We’re losing the soul of it.

Subnautica 2 is a pacifist ideology woven into a game. Players have noticed you cannot defend yourself against attacking fish. Not even in self defense. Only passive means are available. This was by design. You can't kill anything because the devs feel it would support gun violence and aspects of colonialism: "Subnautica is one vote towards a world with less guns. A reminder that there is another way forward." "We want people to feel like they're learning to adapt to the world, rather than being a conqueror or dominator." "We aren't a killing game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something if you want to kill." The anti-violence stance got stronger from Subnautica 1 -> 2, which now has a complete "no kill" policy even when the fish can still kill *you*.

@Comrade_Del Western vtubing is a competition of who can be the least idol-like out of everyone. Some corpo vtubers carry themselves with an inkling of decency, but I'd say most EN vtubers want the money and prestige of a celebrity while being as lazy and e-thoty as possible.

Once again... my stance that Vtubing medium in the west has become nothing more than a pipeline into e-girls and goonery.
