People still don’t get it. Bethesda’s object permanence is what makes their worlds feel alive and reactive. You can drop items anywhere, build crazy cheese wheel shrines, leave the world in whatever chaotic state you want… and it stays that way. No other game (Cyberpunk included) has fully captured that level of true persistence without compromises. Loading screens exist for a real technical reason here .. they let the game actually remember your impact on the world. I’d rather quick loads than losing that immersion any day. The trade-off is worth it.

The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 are confirmed to be running on the Creation Engine This means they will very likely both still require loading screens when entering Interiors. I think this is one of the biggest weaknesses of Bethesda games, it really does feel outdated…

I've been getting "I used to be a fan but..." comments for years it's never actually been someone who watches my content they do it to manufacture both outside people thinking your own audience is turning against you because you said Bad Thing™️ and to hopefully wear on your mental that your "actual fans" dislike what you're doing so that you change what you're doing to please "your audience"
