Easy group? My brother in Christ, I’ve watched this team fight for its life against Iran, Algeria, Slovenia or just not even get here at all.

If I had a nickel for every time the USA hosted a World Cup, played on the West Coast in their second match, and scored an own goal against a team with yellow jerseys, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice

You know, there were always races that went green flag to checkers without there ever being a caution right?
Like it’s happened multiple times. Even during the most popular days. And it was fine.
Not every race needs to have cautions. It’s a good thing to have… variety!

If you get rid of stages and races start going green to checkers because there’s less attrition then ever before people will lose interest. I’d rather stage cautions than mystery yellows for nothing or drivers throwing roll bar padding out the window.

@Nickolah1984 @PEARatings Yes but they know of the 2 options going into Monday. Troy was hosting or elimination going into Monday. USC knew it was going to UNC before it played if it won. USC could plan for that instead of having like 6 options entering Monday

@Sj_Valenti @PEARatings That already happens now. Kansas, Ole Miss, Cal Poly, and Little Rock didn't know their destinations until Monday. Troy is hosting on short notice as well. The pairings only make it easy if the hosts win.

@Nickolah1984 @PEARatings The hosting is why you can't for supers. That's making teams wait until the final game is over on Monday before figuring out which of multiple locations they are going for a friday game. Pairing regionals makes planning easy

@Sj_Valenti @PEARatings Biggest reason to re-seed after regionals is hosting. Lower seeds get to host while higher seeds travel simply due to luck of the draw w/ their pairing.
Also, 75% of the field is eliminated after regionals so that's when you have the largest gaps b/w expected and actual winners.

@Nickolah1984 @PEARatings Thats backwards. If they are to reseed reseed in Omaha. The CWS gets its own bracket already plus it's easier since every team is traveling to the same site. Keep the regionals paired with a super. Thats what D3 does

@PEARatings I'm not heavily in favor or against re-seeding as I see pros and cons to both. But if you're going to re-seed, only do it after regionals. Leave Omaha alone.

@wmolenzccures @nextlevelbb Cal Poly had all of Monday to plan for a possible trip to WV. They knew the options were host or travel to 1 site. Thats much easier to deal with amd plan then waiting until after every regional finishes to figure out which of like 4 or 5 sites they are going to
