River Update: It appears that the Skagit River has crested in Concrete at 30.66 feet at 5:00 PM and is now on its way down. This is below Major Flood levels.

The Red Cross will be opening a Shelter at the Lyman Elementary School, 8183 Lyman Ave in Lyman beginning at 4:30 PM today, February 1, 2020 for the Town of Hamilton and others affected by the flood event and power outages.

Its never too early to prepare for possible flooding. A Flood Watch will go into effect tomorrow afternoon through Friday afternoon for portions of NW WA & W Central WA. A period of heavy rain Wed-Saturday may cause river flooding for those flowing off the Cascades. #wawx
