@Cmdr_Hadfield I agree, unfortunately it’s going to take luck to get this thing up and around the moon successfully - at some point hopefully a reliable space craft will come out of Artemis that no longer relies on luck…

Last night this huge Moon rocket was wheeled back out to the launch pad. With luck, the helium & hydrogen leaks are fixed. The Artemis crew is back in quarantine, avoiding bugs and focusing on final training. Launch is set for 1 April - no fooling! Live views: youtube.com/watch?v=ED2nbf… @NASA @csa_asc

We’ve been to the Moon. This time, potentially as soon as 12 days from now, we’re going back to stay. Artemis began in President Trump’s first term and in his second, he doubled down. Returning. Establishing a base. Launching to Mars.

A new inflatable space station called Thunderbird is being developed by Max Space. It will be launched into orbit using a single Falcon 9 rocket and will expand once in space to create a much larger living and working area. Designed to support four astronauts, the station aims to provide a more spacious and comfortable environment for missions in low Earth orbit, with a planned launch around 2029.

@SpaceX This is very exciting - I really really really wish you the best of luck, hoping for a perfect flight, even as unrealistic that may be, just want this thing to move out and get us there, like now…

Initial Super Heavy V3 and Starbase Pad 2 activation campaign complete, wrapping up several days of testing that loaded cryogenic fuel and oxidizer on a V3 vehicle for the first time. While the 10-engine static fire ended early due to a ground-side issue, we saw successful startup on all installed Raptor 3 engines. Next up: preparing the booster for a 33-engine static fire

We were honored to welcome Hungarian President @DrTamasSulyok to Axiom Space. As the company that enabled Hungary’s first astronaut mission (#Ax4) onboard the #ISS, we are proud to celebrate a partnership that expands national capability, advances cutting‑edge research, and connects governments with industry through commercial human spaceflight. This is what global leadership in space looks like. #BuildingOpportunity
Dr. Tamás Sulyok@DrTamasSulyok

The role played by research astronaut Tibor Kapu in sparking the interest of thousands of Hungarian children in the natural sciences and space technology will not be forgotten. He gave Hungarian science education a new, pioneering impetus. Anyone who has followed the Hungarian space mission is familiar with the name @Axiom_Space , the leading space technology company that sent Tibor Kapu into space. After a meeting with the company's founder at Axiom's development centre in Houston, we got a glimpse into the extremely complex and scientific work involved in designing space suits and a new space station.

@NASAAdmin Why would I want to work for the Government at 50%-75% of my current salary, and have to put up with all the BS that civil service entails (having worked in civil service before)? Gonna have to incentivize this somehow….$$$$ and a commitment to rejuvenate NASA

It’s simple: NASA needs the best talent—and we’re bringing it back in-house. We’re reviewing thousands of contractor roles for conversion to civil servant positions to rebuild core capabilities, move faster, and put more resources toward science, and discovery. We will launch rockets in months, not years.

@rose_1024nu Going to take a lot more than a 40 hour work week ala @spacex and a significant increase in individual output to even get close -civil servant salaries don’t usually attract the most talented (younger) engineers these days, that will likely have to change also
