@jwmjournalist Great book. Deep analysis of a somewhat complicated and amazingly successful old school and innovative manager.

@Padres @MLB Congrats, Manny. On to 3,000 hits! I am not surprised by your many accomplishments. I knew you would be a great player when watching you in your early days as an Oriole. All the best!!!

@danconnolly2016 All the best. I have enjoyed reading many of your columns and appreciated your thoughts relative to the Orioles for many years. Thank you AND find a way to stay somewhat connected to baseball - particularly the O's.

So, some personal news. But certainly not breaking news (perhaps fitting for the end of my journalism career). Wanna thank everyone who has read my Orioles coverage for nearly 3 decades. I’ll still be writing and posting on occasion. And may have a book or 2 in me:

@SkipFennell @bkobett @jonathanwray @ErinNull1 From 1981: mathematics teachers must be concerned with the logical, the social, and the psychological criteria of the elementary mathematics curriculum. The neglect of any of these criteria will shortchange our children's mathematics education. The challenge is a great one.

@SkipFennell @jonathanwray @ErinNull1 Yes! The hinge question is such a great way to get a quick pulse in student understanding that drives next steps for instruction! A well-crafted hinge question is worth its weight in gold! #corwintalks

@CorwinPress @bkobett @jonathanwray What about you and feedback? As students are engaged in mathematics learning, how and when do you provide teacher-to-student feedback? Provide opportunities for students to provide feedback to you and provide feedback to each other? Important considerations. #CorwinTalks

Thanks, Marilyn. Love this comment. As we work to fully understand the importance & value of interviewing, we have also learned to value the importance of anticipation & patience. Anticipating what students may say/do AND ensuring the time & space for us to listen! #CorwinTalks
