@BossMoveJB @spurs_four I am not saying the Spurs should trade Fox, but these are the teams that should want him. The Spurs should only trade Fox if it makes sense to balance the roster. Rockets, Grizzlies, Cavs, Nets, Bulls, Hawks, Bucks, Heat, Hornets, Celtics, Twolves, Mavericks, Orlando, Pelicans

I don't know what's happening behind the scenes. Short term, I think they can make it work. Harper, Castle, and Wemby are on rookie deals. Wemby's new extension will take place after next year. That will be ok. When Castle is ready for an extension, that's when it will get interesting. Fox is a player you want, but if there is a deal to more balance the roster, then you consider it. Disappointing finish, but there is a lot of overreaction going on. They just beat OKC and should of beat the Knicks. More experience, more maturity... Tweak the roster and they are fine. There aren't really a lot of players of Fox caliber out there, which makes finding a trade more difficult. Many teams would like to have him. Just my thoughts...

Do you agree that there is now potential rift brewing here with Harper? I mean to a 20 year olds eye, this coach may have cost him ROY and a possible ring. Harper just wasn't more effective in this series. He was more effective the entire postseason. I dont want KL 2.0 to happen here.

I approve of this trade. We give them Fox and we get a bag of opened hot cheetos in return. Both teams win.

"Meat is a luxury." Yes. It always was. That is precisely why everyone clawed to get more of it. The powerful kept it behind their own walls and fed the poor bread and a lecture on gratitude. Access to it was what we called prosperity. So when your grandparents could finally put it on the table every day, they did, gladly, and never felt they owed anyone an apology. Now you are told the prize your whole line fought for is the thing to give up. Call it a luxury, then. Kings guarded theirs with armies. You can guard yours with a frying pan.

@geoffschwartz Brunson vs SGA would’ve been an all time series. Instead had to watch this 8 foot lemon choke 4 games single handedly

The Knicks players are easy to root for. They play hard. They care. Brunson is fantastic. They close out games. Well coached. Don’t make many mistakes. Congrats to them.

@KevinOConnor They just made it to the finals in year 1 with this core with Fox playing a big role… If he is here next year, then no reason they can’t be in the finals again You can still start Harper. Spurs don’t care about optics and Fox has been a selfless teammates

The problem with a De’Aaron Fox trade is: Who wants Fox? Most teams that need a PG are gonna draft one. This class is loaded with guards. Teams that would trade for one will prefer the younger and cheaper Ja Morant. There’s a chance San Antonio is just stuck with Fox.

The Kings traded De’Aaron Fox for Zach LaVine, who was largely viewed as having the worst contract in the NBA at the time, just for the Spurs to give Fox a contract that will now largely be viewed as the worst contract in the NBA. Poetic.

@BrooklynGuyNBA There are plenty of minutes for Fox, Castle, Harper and Wemby. They will be just fine. Fox is still on helluva player with value. This post is dramatic.

"You need a varied diet" sounds obvious. It quietly assumes that no single food is complete. The advice exists because plant foods each fall short somewhere, so you must mix many to cover the gaps. Eat enough different deficient things and you might, between them, scrape together everything. Animal foods break the rule. Meat, eggs, and dairy are each close to complete on their own. A diet of beef, eggs, and butter covers nearly every nutrient a human needs, off a tiny list. That looks restrictive next to a rainbow of vegetables. It is in fact more complete. Variety for its own sake is a workaround for foods that cannot stand alone. Carnivores eat a short menu and show no deficiencies. That should be impossible, if the rule were true. A short list of complete foods beats a long list of incomplete ones. Variety was always the consolation prize for eating plants.

@velodus Cavs have a lot of really good historic jerseys they could tap into if they go with the “modern classic” kind of trend. A lot of these had been used for alternate/city edition but a full revamp based on one has a lot of potential.

With Minnesota and Utah going back to retro-inspired uniforms, the next team that really needs to do the same thing is the Cavs. Their current set is just... bland.

Breaking: The NBA's Board of Governors has passed new anti-tanking rules that include expanding the draft lottery from 14 to 16 teams, a relegation zone where the bottom 3 teams get penalized with lessened chances for the No. 1 pick, and flattened odds, sources tell ESPN.

The new proposed NBA Draft Lottery odds for the team with the worst record are absolutely WILD compared to the current system: • No. 1 Pick: Drops from 14% to 5.4% • Top 3 Pick: Drops from 40.1% to 16.4% • Top 5 Pick: Drops from 100% to 28.4% • 6th-12th Pick: Skyrockets from 0% to 71% Tanking would officially be dead. 😳
