@Reptile9LoL It goes month day year because that’s how you say it in a sentence. Ex. “I’m going to see Batman on June 12th.” Instead of “I’m going to see Batman on the 12th of June.” Which sounds proper posh and disgusting. The European mind cannot fathom the efficiency of American English.

My exhaustive take on transmog in Classic + Potential good coming from transmog: 1. When I was full Bloodfang I shed a tear. When I then got my AQ shoulders I shed many, many tears. 2. Repairs some of the damage bis lists have done to the classic experience. Rather than everyone just following the list and ignoring everything else, people can once again discover that there is a cool item somewhere, and pursue it. Vanilla style, where we used to just do stuff to get stuff. (These will all assume Blizzard adds new items, not just relying on what is there already) 3. Offers tons of ways Blizzard can add nice looking items to the game. Maybe one is a 0,1 % drop from these random skeletons in Duskwood. Or the Gadgetzan water crates, or the scarab graves in ZF. Rare crafting recipes, bosses near the end of long dungeons, the dragons in Blasted Lands, world bosses, special mobs that only spawn when it rains. You name it. Great way to simply add different shit to do around the world. 4. Fixes the problem where everyone just looks the same. Bis has made this so jarring. Fury warriors just look like fury warriors. Part of what makes classic feel special is that my character feels like his own person. Bis lists kill this at the end of it all. 5. Classic is a very vertically progressing game. We cannot keep adding stronger raids after Naxx. It will get out of hand. Horizontal progression is imo needed for Classic + to not be another seasonal shit show, or to just die out. Transmog, done well, could be the most significant pillar to this. 6. BRE has very good stats. Potential SERIOUS problems with transmog if following retail's footsteps: 1. Can kill visual progression. Especially when leveling, but throughout the game. Very, very bad for classic. 2. Potential to create this retail feeling where everyone walks around in essentially an RP costume. Feels not real and not classic. 3. Creates a complete disconnect between the characters on your screen and what those characters are actually wearing 4. Can kill the Classic WoW sense of vastness to the world/game. The transmog tab makes sense for retail as, let's face it, a dress up simulator, but I fucking hate it, and I would hate it for classic. 5. People rolling on gear for transmog. 6. Fucks with the ability to read power levels in pvp. 7. If transmog is trivial to do, not doing so because you don't like it becomes an arbitrary decision, and undermines what investment you might have in your character's natural appearance. 8. I have always found the "cosmetic item" item type to needlessly erode even further the feeling that I am an adventurer in a world collecting items. Solutions: - No wardrobe tab. Solves point 4. Just use the Cata model where you need to have the actual item you want to mog to, simple as that. For vendored q items just add boe greens with the same model - Do not add "cosmetic item" item types to the game. Just make them an item with some stats that looks like that. Keeps things feeling organic and prevents the erosion of that subtle classic magic. Fixes problem 8. Keep lines blurred and let US decide what is a transmog item. - Add a very significant cost to transmogging a single item. I would accept a 60g flat fee, but I would also like if it's a consumed on use item you have to find around the game. Make it a cost significant enough to where nobody does it while leveling, or for dungeon gear, and where hardly anyone would have a fully transmogged set. Rather than transmogging "sets", people transmog items. Fixes problems 1, 2 and 3, and 7, helps with problem 6. - Add an item or something like an on use neck enchant (idk) that makes you see through transmogs for 1 minute. Fixes problem 6 completely. - Problem 5, people rolling on gear for transmog, might be the trickiest one. Adding a transmog roll option like retail could work to some extent, but I think this is one the community will largely have to handle. I think it's a con outweighed by the pros.

what is the female equivalent of being short as a male? if you say being fat or skinny im going to put you in solitary confinement for the rest of your life because not weighing enough or weighing too much can be fixed fairly simply, never said easily just simply.

@Chris94136 @gruevy No, people don't use "Gedankens" as a shorthand for "Gedankenexperiment", and you wouldn't even use that word in that context. I also speak German fluently, so hearing your total abomination of an explanation/justification for its usage is laughable.

@SkullCandyEdit @gruevy The full word is gedankenexperiment, often shortened to just gedanken. It's a thought experiment to test a concept or idea. The word entered the American lexicon when Einstein became famous. Though I do now notice my phone changed it to gedenken, misspelled

@SkullCandyEdit @ChazakielDoremi Again we just gonna disagree here. I did it when I was a kid first try by reading and going “oh, let me look” and it was less than 30 seconds of putting it together. Felt natural to me to try the thing the game literally tells me. But it’s ok to disagree
