If France launched a nuclear attack on Moscow, 100% of Europeans would be celebrating it
Aleksey The Great 🇷🇺🎖@aleksthgrt
If Russia had just launched a nuclear attack on Paris, perhaps 90% of France would be celebrating it right now.

@HardwareSteam what even is the point of making steam machines affordable if their supply will be limited?
Like the point of low prices is to change the market and developer's mindset, but this won't happen day 1.
The price can be high now, since it won't matter, but it should be lower later

I want to make it clear this post is a PERSONAL OPINION and not an update. I'm not trying to get people's hopes up as not much would back this and I'm also not very knowledged on the subject, but I haven't seen anyone consider this so I thought it was worth posting.
Something l've thought about is that there is a way Valve could sell Steam Machine at a major loss but still make up for it. Consoles often launch with big releases, more recent examples being Mario Kart World, Astro's Playroom (although free with the PS5), and much more over time. This has been common practice for decades and helps with sales, whether included with the console for free, an optional bundle, or just a same time release.
All I'm saying is, if Valve was working on a large game, say one of the most anticipated games of all time, it may be smart to launch it the same day as Steam Machine, as it is both a console and a PC. Regardless if this game would ship with it or not considering that it'd be on Steam anyway, it would still be great for money to release at the same time, and Valve would definitely make their money back. Not trying to do the "hopium" thing without any evidence either, we do know Valve has been working on SOMETHING for years and all I'm saying is this could be the best time to release that. What do you think about this?

@x4r1ncs @CS2_Confessions I am playing in 14-15k range, and it's pretty chill, I can recall only having like one or two suspicious matches, idk maybe my trust factor is too high lol

@KingVulpes105 @gabefollower The decks sold out already.
So will the steam machine, probably no matter the price since the first shipment will be limited in numbers.
Steam machine is a weird niche thing that matter more as an experience of developing it, which will help with their future products

it's so over for the frame and steam machines...

Steam Deck prices have been raised by Valve -- 1TB version now $949 USD, up $300 from previous price.

@myostatinmogger @WillGlass23 @MarioNawfal @nikitabier the fact that some paper can be translated with google means this story is true?
Have any of you fucking idiots got any single source to a news article or anything more trustworthy than a ragebait tweet?
I am only here because my favourite schizo telegram channel went too schizo

🇩🇪 A German man called Olaf Scholz a bastard on Twitter because his Fortnite update was going at 173KB/s
The German state responded with a formal written criminal accusation under defamation law.
The tweet had 503 views.
The man had downloaded 102MB of a 37.9GB file.
He had 37,800MB left to go. The police got there before the download did.

English

@SteamFrameOut half life 3 is never coming out

English

it’s genuinely terrifying how immanent half-life 3 is. it could happen literally any day now
HOLLY HOLIDAY ❄️🎄@MyGayPony
@SteamFrameOut get ready for more things to happen next week
English

@TheGuyestLame Fuck you, half life 3 is the most important thing to ever happen to humanity or the universe.
It will bring upon second rapture saving the half life believers and dooming others to slopfest forever

@AngryAndHere @GreenTextRepost The real issue with evil, is that it has reasons to exist, the kind that won't go away. It works by innate natural incentives, they will never disappear completely.
So evil isn't just evil for the sake of it, that's why it both won't go away and why it's so demoralising
English

@GreenTextRepost Evil just being evil too big of a concept for anon
English

@deCode_Art666 @Half_Life_III Valve is too mature and wise not to deal with people in this manner.
They had enough with leaks of first two half lifes
English

@Half_Life_III If this is some elaborate ruse and your aptly named account had something to do with actual Valve and Half-Life 3 all along, I'mma lose my shit 😂🤣
English

@HardwareSteam Steam machine itself isnt as important as what comes along with it
English

@HardwareSteam > waiting for half life 3 that's being stringed into this mess
English

Will you try and buy one? 🤔
