Welcome to a new era in flight safety. Powered by SkyOS™.

This morning at VERTICON, we provided a firsthand look at how SkyOS™, the world’s first operating system for flight, is maturing its capabilities on the Black Hawk platform. In a session led by former commander of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (aka the “Night Stalkers”) and our Director of Strategic Pursuits, Mike Hertzendorf, we shared how our team was able to rapidly expand our flight envelope for Black Hawk with SkyOS, to perform precision maneuvers and patterns with one hand. Just weeks after achieving the first-ever automated pickup, hover, and setdown of a Black Hawk with SkyOS, we’re continuing to witness our system’s maturity on a new platform. SkyOS unlocks safety and performance without compromise – making flying every aircraft more reliable and effective. Watch as this battle-proven aircraft enters a new era.

Emergency autoland is officially coming to SkyOS™. We’re proud to announce that we are bringing universal, emergency autoland capability to SkyOS, offering automated safe landings for airplanes, and for the first time, helicopters. As a feature integrated into SkyOS, the world’s first universal operating system for flight, SkyOS’ emergency autoland continues our legacy in creating first-ever, lifesaving automation technology, including successfully automating autorotations (engine-out landings in helicopters), which is one of the most complicated emergency scenarios to navigate. Accidents during takeoff and landing are more common than during any other phase of flight. This is because pilots are in transition with some of the highest workloads, requiring intricate coordination of various systems and pilot attention. That’s why we’ve also successfully automated a helicopter pickup and set-down, empowering pilots to initiate these critical phases with a swipe of a finger. Celebrating 10 years 🚁🛩️ We’re on a mission to make flying every aircraft safe and simple, and that’s why we’ve created SkyOS™, the world’s first operating system for flight. We’re the only company to have developed aircraft-agnostic technology to make that future a reality, and 10 years in, we’ve secured partnerships across every major aviation sector – including the U.S. military, emergency medical service operators, law enforcement, private operators, including the largest firefighting agency in the world as well as international markets. By replacing conventional, complex mechanical flight controls in both helicopters and airplanes to support safe operations in all situations, including emergencies, SkyOS creates a synergistic partnership between human skill and intelligent automation, setting a new standard for safe aviation operations. SkyOS’ impact reaches far beyond the cockpit, creating ripple effects that enhance public safety, strengthen national resilience, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable, equitable future of air mobility.

Status: Unicorn. 🦄 Today we’re announcing our $300M+ Series C raise, accelerating our path to certification and scaling our universal operating system for flight across helicopters and airplanes. This round was led by Autopilot Ventures (@HQAutopilot) and returning investor Fidelity Management & Research Company, with participation from new and returning investors ArrowMark Partners, Atreides Management LP (@Atreidesmgmt), @BAMelevate, @BaronCapital Group, Inc., Durable Capital Partners, Positive Sum, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), RCM Private Markets Fund managed by Rokos Capital Management (US) LP, Woodline Partners, among others. Surpassing $1B in valuation as a privately-held company, is a big milestone for us and a history-making moment for the industry. To date, we’re the only aviation technology company to reach this milestone while maintaining our independence and offering a technology for dual-use in defense and civilian markets. We’re especially proud of what this capital unlocks for safe, simple flight for everyone. Learn more in @TechCrunch here: techcrunch.com/2026/02/03/sky…
