@NoMansSky Sean I know you aren’t prevalent in the looter shooter space but could we, the Guardians of Destiny, request your voice in the #WeWantDestiny3 movement please? Been a NMS fan since day 1, never lost hope. Please help us out. We need voices now more than ever.

@Alalinide This is something hurting me. I play both (a lot. Since day 1) and I welcome all guardians to the fray with open arms BUT I know Wf isn’t destiny and won’t ever replace it. It’s just an option. But so many people are telling me they never will play bc of how toxic we players are.

It all started here. In the Vault. And it kept getting better. There were some lows along the way, and the last year hasn’t been the same. But that doesn’t take away from the highs we felt with this incredible series. We’re not ready to say goodbye. We have a final update coming that brings so much we’ve been asking for. Charlemagne will support it and we have some fun ideas to keep people engaged. This is the end of new D2 content, but not the end of D2. And hopefully not the end of Destiny. Charlemagne will be there for guardians playing D2 as long as we have enough donators to pay for our server hosting. And we’re definitely not done building. Expect some fun new things over the coming weeks and months.

I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is: Log on the week of June 9th. Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way. At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build. I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.

@DuvalMagic @MoxsyOG If you actually look deeply into what we love about Destiny and other games like it, as well as border/wonderlands, and combine all those good qualities into a game, yes we would love it.

The year is 2028. Gearbox just launched Borderworlds - a full live service looter shooter/ arpg combing the first person build variety of Wonderlands (spells, swords, etc) with the endgame depth of PoE and the shared world aspects of Destiny 2. 🤞
